Hubby loves them. We have worn Smartwool socks for years, but the quality for price has went south. These are well made and comfortable.

Hard to pay $20 for a pair of socks, but Ive now done it 5 times. Initially got a pair to just hike in, after researching quite a bit. The wool keeps your feel dry and cool, while the compression and thickness provide comfort. Also nearly prevents all blisters, if you a prone to these. Soon I found myself wearing these hiking socks every day as they feel great, and needed more pairs. Very durable too. I blow out standard white socks all the time, I have yet to break one of these. And if you do, supposedly there is a lifetime warranty, you just pay to ship there, but I have not needed to do that yet.

Really like the thickness. Keeps feet warm and and comfortable for 10 hour workday. The durability and comfort is great enough for me to replace all my socks with these.

I own a good amount of Darn Tough socks. I run regularly and now only run in Darn Tough socks (the ones on the top in the photo). I prefer the cushion socks for running. I absolutely love wearing the thicker Darn Tough socks for hiking and simply for everyday use. They keep my feet warm in the cold and cool when it is hot out.
