Darn Tough Merino Wool Boot Sock Full Cushion

> 3 dayBought these to use at work, wearing heavy leather boots for about 60-70 hours a week I tried a few Darn Tough socks before I settled on these. I tried the steely, which was a little too thin over all. And the John Henry, which was better cushioned than the steely, but I didnt like how high it came on the calf, and the strange thinner section on top of the toe (why is it thinner there? Thats where I typically want cushion). So I tried these and fell in love! They are thick enough for good protection of my tootsies, the flat seam on the toe is great, the knit is super dense. These things are high quality! I own 8 pairs and wear them every day.

> 3 dayBest part to me is the warranty. Kind of pricey but that warranty makes it worth it. Id imagine I will take advantage of that when the little fuzz balls get to pulling out too much of the material. They feel snug but not constricting; a little thinner than my other wool socks but those are noticeably larger. My feet fit well into my shoes with these and they look great! Noticeably very well made. Id maybe buy more pairs if they werent so expensive or if another pair came in the package.

> 3 dayAlthough these have a lifetime warranty, rip um get a hole in em what ever and you get a new pair.... I still have like 6 pairs of these socks. These are nice and think. I have to be careful when wearing these even though I have a 12 foot and wear a 13 shoe I can still get hikers toe if I am not careful because they are so thick. Otherwise what is not to love about these socks?

> 3 dayThese are well constructed, warm and breathable. They were purchased to be worn with work boots and provide cushioning in all the right places.

Greater than one weekI learned about these sock while researching long distance hiking. Why have I not heard about these socks before that? These are the most comfortable and durable socks I have ever purchased and put on my feet. I have traditionally purchased Gold Toe socks over the past 30 years. I purchased 3 park of these socks to try and I absolutely love they way they feel. They draw themselves up around your foot for a nice snug fit. They do not bunch up around your toes in a boot and do not slide down your leg but very little. I cant say enough good things about this sock and will be buying more to replace my Gold Toe socks. They are very pricey for sure, but they are worth every penny. The warranty on them is unconditional, which almost no company does now days. I have reached an age that comfort, expense, and longevity make it worth a good investment like these socks. You guys that made these socks did a fantastic job designing these things!

> 3 dayThese socks admirably stood up to a hard, wet, cold week of rough camping/hunting in the woods. For me, that says it all.

> 3 dayThey kept my feet warm in an unheated building when it was 12 degrees outside. I was standing on cold concrete for 8 hours and they didnt get wet from sweat. Magic? I wish I had these in the Army back in the day during those cold German winters.

> 3 dayI have worn two pair of these socks and two pair of another model of Darn Tough for the past year, typically for four days to a week at a time. I prefer these to the others because they dont shrink. I am making these my standard travel sock as they retain their shape while wearing for all day treks in the Andes of Peru and Ecuador. They are not wearing thin. I have not tested them in super warm weather.
