Greater than one weekGreat stylish merino wool socks that keep my feet comfortable for endless hiking, biking, and everyday wear. Ever since I broke my toes I’ve had circulation issues especially in wearing cheap socks, but I don’t have issues when I wear these socks. I love my adorable Darn Tough socks!

23-11-2024These are quality polyester socks, and if you look very closely at the product details, it gives the real content of these socks. Do not be fooled by the big flashy text and images about the glory of Merino Wool. The company may make some socks out of such wool, but not these. Once you know that, the socks are not bad. The padding is not as much as I would like.

> 3 dayGreat durability and really comfortable for hiking. Thick and warm socks, but not too warm - I’ve hiked in these in the summer and winter. Pro tip - you can mail these in to darn tough in Vermont for a new pair when your socks are worn out (they have a lifetime warranty). You just pay for the shipping to their warehouse.

> 3 dayI’ve had these socks for 3 years, put a couple hundred miles on them, hiking mostly rugged terrain in PA and WV, but they also went with me through the Great Smoky Mountains and Big Bend, and they are still 100% as good as new. They dry quickly, provide soft cushion and protection from rubbing, but aren’t so thick that they cause your boots/runners to fit too snugly. They’re great for summer hikes but I also wear them during the winter in insulated hiking boots. Worth every penny!

> 3 dayIm a huge fan of Darn Tough socks, they truly are the best and sturdiest. These are my first coolmax ones from them, and are super comfy and are definitely softer than my other Darn Tough socks. Will eventually get another pair!

> 3 dayDidn’t realize how some socks are SO much better than others! I think these socks are expensive, but they’re worth it! I’d been having trouble with my socks rubbing my toes raw when hiking or going for long walks, tried one company’s who advertises not having a seam in the toe, but they did have a seam and they were so thin! After doing more research I found Darn Tough, and these socks are so comfortable even on long hikes, or just wearing all day! No more raw toes from the seam rubbing on the ends of my toes. These have a seam but it’s placed in a different area than most socks. These socks have a lifetime warranty too, plus they’re made in the USA! Customer Service at Darn Tough was excellent! Try a pair, check Darn Tough’s website to make sure you’re getting the right size first. They have sizes for men and women, and I believe they have children sizes too, but you’d better check that to be sure. So I’m in the process of buying a pair of socks once a month until I have enough for at least 7 days. Yeah, expensive but definitely worth it!
