> 3 dayLove these socks! They are my favourite pair for long distance hiking. Everyone’s feet and boots are different, but these worked best for me. Definitely worth the high price tag. I’m interested to see how long wearing they are over time.

> 3 dayEdit: I got the new replacement sock immediately and they are the right size and color. The size small fits well on my 6.5 foot. They are thinner on the ankle to be cooler, but still good and think on the foot for comfortability. Cant wait to take them on our mid-west adventure in a couple weeks! Original: The exterior packing lists the size and color that I ordered, but the actual item is a size bigger and the wrong color. Sent for replacement - mostly just hoping this review will alert the correct party to the packaging error. Sock feels super soft and comfortable to the touch - will update review when I get the right size to try on and use!

Greater than one weekDidn’t realize how some socks are SO much better than others! I think these socks are expensive, but they’re worth it! I’d been having trouble with my socks rubbing my toes raw when hiking or going for long walks, tried one company’s who advertises not having a seam in the toe, but they did have a seam and they were so thin! After doing more research I found Darn Tough, and these socks are so comfortable even on long hikes, or just wearing all day! No more raw toes from the seam rubbing on the ends of my toes. These have a seam but it’s placed in a different area than most socks. These socks have a lifetime warranty too, plus they’re made in the USA! Customer Service at Darn Tough was excellent! Try a pair, check Darn Tough’s website to make sure you’re getting the right size first. They have sizes for men and women, and I believe they have children sizes too, but you’d better check that to be sure. So I’m in the process of buying a pair of socks once a month until I have enough for at least 7 days. Yeah, expensive but definitely worth it!

> 3 dayJust got off the trail from giving this pair their first hike in 80 degree humid weather. So happy with these!! My feet were so comfortable!! Great cushion, fit perfect (got small for size 6.5-7 ) My feet were not hot or sweaty. 2 rugged hours and feet felt great. Will buy this brand from now on. Prefer over my Smart Wools. Put your hiking feet on these!

Greater than one weekI have small feet so getting socks to fit is a problem. These fit perfectly. I wear them for hiking. They actually stay up and dont get all bunched up in my hiking boots. They have just the right amount of cushion without being bulky. Great socks!

> 3 dayI have small feet, delicate skin, and like to hike. I have worn the Darn Tough wool socks for spring and fall hiking, but found them too warm for summer. These socks work. No blisters, not too sweaty, no blisters, no rubbing, no slipping. Perfect. Expensive, but worth every penny.

07-06-2025These are the best winter socks I’ve ever had. No more scratchy wool socks for me! These are soft and keep my feet warmer than any other sock I’ve had. Walking around in the winter in New York City can be dreadful but not with these socks. Highly recommend to anyone who likes warm, comfortable feet.
