I bought other mower deck belts from Amazon that were sub-par, either too short or too much slack. This fits perfect on my Craftsman YTS 3000 42” deck. A great buy, and will buy again when needed.

These d&d belts are tough as they come. The people who say they break after a use or just come a part have other pulley,belt routing, and or wrong belt length issues. Ive used the d&d belts for years now on various types and brands of equipment. I have never had a all out breakage and i have used them on equipment the was pushed well beyond there intended use and the only belt breakage ive had was a burn through and that was my fault for trying to use one belt instead of two in a high power / high load application.

Replaced a 5 year old factory belt and this greatly improved performance.

This belt has been as good as other belts I purchased at a higher price. I will continue buying these belts.

Dont waste your money, spend a little extra and get a better belt. It wears out really quick

Drive belt for Craftsman 2300 mower. (Amazon choice) not recommend. Belt too big causing slippage . cheap made in China. Little to no quality control. Spend the extra money and get a OEM belt. Lesson learned.

Tried to save $7 with a cheaper one… big mistake. This one replaces my Craftsman deck belt just fine..

I have wrist & hand pain anx still can’t squeeze the ends together to open jats & bottles. Not for older user

Easy to install. Works on Craftsman 917.289101. This drives the mower blades, not the belt you need to propel the mower forward and backward.

Seems a much better quality belt than the manufacturer installed. The tractor design is not the best but replacing the original with this belt was not the drama that several YouTube videos would lead you to believe - a bit tedious but not difficult. Tractor performs like new. We will see how long the belt lasts.
