> 24 hourNot nearly as messy as the Rite dye I have used in the past, didnt stain my stainless steel sink so clean up was much easier. Nice cobalt blue color and since I stirred the twin bedspread frequently, the color was even. I did use soda ash as the instructions indicated which I purchased separately. Quite a bit more expensive than the rite dye, particularly after the addition purchase of the soda ash, but I thought Id give it a try since the rite dye ALWAYS fades Ive washed the bedspread and it didnt fade at all. No color bleed at all onto the old white towel I put in as a test!

> 24 hourI used it on a bedspread so it was heavy

> 24 hourOnly reason I knocked it down a star is that it barely held 1.5 tablespoons of powder. Now there is a blurb about ‘filled by weight. Powder density. Yada yada’ but when your instructions say 1-4 tablespoons, shouldn’t you have at least 4 tbsp in the jar??

> 24 hourBeautiful, rich color! Ice-dyed a white duvet color and it came out perfect! Exactly the color I was looking for!

> 24 hourI have an old denim purse that I love and use ALL the time. It had faded so much it had lost its beauty. I put it in this dye and now it looks better that it did when new. The embroidery thread must have been something other than cotton, because the flowers and leaves, etc., werent affected by the dye. And this was not a toy for me - dont know why it says it is.....

> 24 hourThis turned into more of a faded Jean color rather than deep royal blue

> 24 hourIf you dye, this is the stuff to use. If doesnt wash out and can be used with cold water. At this very moment, I have leather sandals immersed in their Jet Black. These sandals were given to me and I hated the color. I removed the gold color with nail polish remover but they were so resistant to every other type of leather dye, I almost gave up. Then I thought, what the heck. This dye is seriously amazing.

> 24 hourWe used this dye on cushion covers for a set of wicker furniture that sits in our patio room. My husband wore gloves while dyeing, and he still had blue hands for four days. The color covered well in the beginning and looked quite nice. It hasnt come off of any other fabrics (like when you sit on it). However, after about six months, the color has faded drastically to a very light blue, without any washing or exposure to water. I wouldnt recommend it for anything that sits anywhere near any light.
