> 24 hourThese are great looking shelf brackets. My carpenter had no problems installing a kitchen bar height shelf using these brackets. Plenty of room to allow for drilling the screws. Very sturdy.

> 24 hourBought these after many hours spent looking for chrome brackets to match my bath fixtures. Other sites offered similar items but with overseas shipping they landed between $80-$100, way too much. I used these to mount a towel shelf that I fabricated out of a beautiful piece of walnut. They are not built to exact 90 degree angles (just slightly off) but they get the job done and have a great look. As others stated that curved arm swings slightly to either side but that actually helped be in terms of getting a long bit on the upper wall screw. I cant imagine a scenario where drywall anchors would hold these sufficiently as they are very heavy. You really need to be screwing into studs with these. I removed drywall and added wood structure behind them. At $30 I would definitely recommend.

> 24 hourWhile the overall gauge of the metal bracket seems sturdy enough to support a fair weight (have not installed the 10 x 15 shelves, yet), the curved support piece is not welded or firmly attached on some of the brackets and they tend to swivel a bit. Also, I found the hardware provided to be insufficient and used a heavier, better suited screw. The flat head screws provided were too small, were of an inferior quality, and not the best choice stylistically for this product. As a professional carpenter who has done many commercial & home installations, I recommend a 10 gauge oval head screw for a better looking finished installation as well as improved reliability and longevity. Stylistically, the brackets look good on the wall and with the minor upgrades to the hardware, I expect they will do the job they were intended for.

> 24 hourVery nice looking bracket. All of them were out of square. One in particular was very out of square. I took it apart to see if I could bend it into square and the curved section came off. A small nut used as a shim was in the hole. I removed the curved part completely to find another nut in the other hole. I unscrewed the support for the curve and put things back together and the bracket was now square. Curious what that was all about.. I didnt do anything to the other 3 I purchased as it wasnt necessary. The screws I put into the brackets over powered the slightly out of square bracket in my situation.
