I replaced the wood shelf brackets with these brushed nickel brackets. See the before and after. I think they are an excellent upgrade to my kitchen.

These are great looking shelf brackets. My carpenter had no problems installing a kitchen bar height shelf using these brackets. Plenty of room to allow for drilling the screws. Very sturdy.

They have a great design. They are extremely heavy - very concerned. The weight alone might pull them out of the wall - once you place items on the shelf you might have a problem if not mouned properly. Want to use for a small shelf in the kitchen. Exchanged them for a shelving unit that includes brackets.

While the overall gauge of the metal bracket seems sturdy enough to support a fair weight (have not installed the 10 x 15 shelves, yet), the curved support piece is not welded or firmly attached on some of the brackets and they tend to swivel a bit. Also, I found the hardware provided to be insufficient and used a heavier, better suited screw. The flat head screws provided were too small, were of an inferior quality, and not the best choice stylistically for this product. As a professional carpenter who has done many commercial & home installations, I recommend a 10 gauge oval head screw for a better looking finished installation as well as improved reliability and longevity. Stylistically, the brackets look good on the wall and with the minor upgrades to the hardware, I expect they will do the job they were intended for.

These gorgeous, sturdy metal shelf brackets were exactly what I needed to install a hanging shelf in my spare room. Theyre even heavier and better constructed than similar brackets Id used previously. Well-made, well-packaged, and prompt delivery. I couldnt be more pleased.

Love the high shine, minimal profile, & eye on design. The curved element swings in its settings just the tiniest bit, which does not affect sturdiness but is evident in initial handling. Highly recommended. And yes, get your own fasteners. Brackets pictured are set up for 5x10 pine shelves.

Bought these after many hours spent looking for chrome brackets to match my bath fixtures. Other sites offered similar items but with overseas shipping they landed between $80-$100, way too much. I used these to mount a towel shelf that I fabricated out of a beautiful piece of walnut. They are not built to exact 90 degree angles (just slightly off) but they get the job done and have a great look. As others stated that curved arm swings slightly to either side but that actually helped be in terms of getting a long bit on the upper wall screw. I cant imagine a scenario where drywall anchors would hold these sufficiently as they are very heavy. You really need to be screwing into studs with these. I removed drywall and added wood structure behind them. At $30 I would definitely recommend.
