Dell 130W Watt PA-4E AC DC 19.5V Power Adapter Battery Charger Brick with Cord

I am going to re-review it again and update the current review as per the changes. It is genuine dell charger, have checked the specs online on the Dell website as well. I bought this charger as my laptop charging connector was falling apart in pieces as its been 4 yrs when I brought my Dell XPS 15 L502x. The charger fits perfectly, as soon as I plugged in the charger till now I have not got the message of incorrect charger detected. Still my battery didnt charge not even to 10%, it was saying plugged in, charging or sometimes it was saying plugged in, not charging. I researched over the internet and followed some threads, they said it was a software problem, tried every possible way like resetting BIOS - didnt work, uninstalling and reinstalling battery drivers - didnt work, removed battery - plugged in charger - restarting - shutting down - putting up batter again - restarting - reinstalling battery drivers - didnt work. Finally I gave up trying to resolve the software issue, and ordered the new 9 cell battery from amazon which is arriving today. Once it arrives, Ill be testing it thoroughly with this charger. Will update the review as per. If this one doesnt work then its going back to amazon warehouse for sure with a single * with itself. P.S. Thoroughly check your battery and charger before ordering any of those from Dell, they suck and also are way expensive than what is offered on Amazon.

Shorter cord than the original, but the original is very long. Powerful enough to charge my Alien computer while using it. Glad I dont have to carry the brick daily between home and office.

I bought this to replace the charger for a Dell Inspiron 17R SE 7720. I plugged it in and the Laptop started up and operated seamlessly ... no on screen errors, no hiccups. The battery also charged up just as with the original charger. So far so good ... and a much better price than Dell offered for the replacement. It actually arrived one day earlier than forecasted. If all continues to go well, I will be very happy with this purchase!

Charger works great, but broke in about a month the first time due to an accident. I chalked that up to my fault, but the second one I bought now broke from completely normal use. These things suck

I bought 4 of these that were supposed to be new and 2 of them had a few scuffs and one has the rubber wire tie strap completely missing. Makes me wonder if these are truly pushing 130w. Make sure you inspect these accordingly.

Ordered it after my original laptop power adaptor made a loud popping sound and stopped working. My PC is larger in size, so a 90W back-up adaptor I had didnt fully power the computer. This one arrived the day after I ordered it, worked perfectly, and hasnt given me any problems yet. My only complaint would be its size and bulkiness..... but I assume that all 130W power adaptors are probably bigger and bulkier.

Great power supply and now I can grab this single cord for all my Dell devices without worry about the Watt rating as this puppy works on all of them. So inexpensive, why not grad a couple as soon as your OEM cord begins to fray.

Saved my house from being burned to the ground. Had a wayward Burningmanned tank-girl-looking fire-spinner/stagehand/roadie person of self-disclaimed gender staying in an extra room at my house for um... a little bit longer than we originally thought it was going to be. (Were friends and shes cool and chill, but sometimes not really that bright...) Anyway, I came home one day and put down the grocery bags in the kitchen and saw her on the couch in the living room looking intently at something she was having a hard time twisting on or off. What are you working on, there? Nothing <- first red flag Her twisting on or off motion stopped and I saw that she had her laptop computers power adapter end in one hand. As she was setting it down, her other hand picked up a piece of aluminum foil, (<- second red flag) which she began held in front of her folding between fingers like she was trying to roll a super precision joint (for some reason), tongue sticking out and a winced eye as she folds it into a flat aluminum bar. She picked up the power adapter <- third red flag and started trying to wrap the aluminum bar around the end of the oddly-shaped laptop-end of the power adapter. Um, what are you doing? My laptop power thing died, and Im trying to fix it. With aluminum foil? Are you serious? What, she said with a yeah, I know, totally stupid, right? glimmer in her eye. Burners like to say Safety Third! right before they gleefully tempt fate in one way or another, which seems more like taunting fate than termpting her. Anyway, I digress. Youre going to McGuyver your power adapter with aluminum foil, a paperclip, and some gum? Your power adapter that you use on my (albeit extra) bed, in my ALL-WOODEN-HOUSE. You do see that the floors and the wood paneling in every room of this house are all made out of wood, right? Youve heard the term electrical fire before, right? Um, yeah... Um, no. You are going to get on Amazon right now and order a new one right now. Itll be here tomorrow. This is a lame conversation. And youre not allowed to use your laptop in bed until it gets here. Do you agree? Hey, look at me in the eyes, do you agree? Sure. Hey, do you think you could buy it on your credit card and I can pay you back in cash on Friday? So I bought this thing and it worked. Thanks for being, there, Dell, to sell us replacement parts for your achy-breaky-crap. At least my house didnt burn down. So... 5 stars, Dell.

The A/C adapter I had was not suffieciently supplying power during the video gaming portion of my computing experience. Thus, Amazon arrived at the rescue one more time! I neglected to do something as simple -- as tie my shoes, so no one -- minded (typical for me) if I bought a replacement a/c charger at Amazon. This charger is the correct one and works very well for the video games the laptop is bulit for. It wont replace in game assets, but will do just fine in the so-called real world. This charger arrived in perfect condition from Amazons vendor. I forgetted which condition was listed but the actual condition qualifies all of the ones listed, so even if a mistake or exaggeration was made here, it is something that can easily be corrected by the end user. Delivery was fast and in a bubble envelope. So here, there was minimal envirnomental waste. If your laptop requires this charger, it is worth buying from Amazons fantastic vendor so you can use it. Even if you already have one charger, buying a second may allow you to differently allocate Space whether its the first day or the sixth day of your work week. Of course, if it is your seventh day: rest.
