> 3 dayUpdate: the latest firmware (M2B207 - July 2022) corrects the issues I had experienced with the KVM. My one remaining quibble is the KVM only supports two devices, even though the monitor itself can connect three (HDMI + DisplayPort + USB-C) because there are only two upstream connections (USB-B & USB-C) for devices to access the monitors ports. So if you want to share a keyboard and mouse amongst multiple devices, this monitor can handle two but not three. I rate it 4.5 stars with the latest firmware. ---- The P3421W is my first ultrawide and first curved screen, but I bought it specifically for its built-in KVM. The size is a reasonable replacement for dual screens, though it is still noticeably smaller than two 1080ps, as you might expect based on the resolution. The curve looked strange for about a day and after that I stopped noticing it. What drives me crazy is the KVM. I use it to switch between a Mac and a PC. I do not use the PIP/PBP features (it really isnt big enough for that). But its always a gamble whether switching from one input to the other is going to find a signal, particularly if one machine has just woken from sleep. Switching back and forth between inputs can put the monitor into a state where neither its joystick nor its power button produce any response, and the monitor needs to be unplugged to reboot it. Clearly the monitors firmware is buggy (Ive updated to the latest). Unless this is fixed, I cant give it more than an average rating overall.

> 3 dayAll works well. Amazed by the expansiveness, and ease of use. I bring my laptop to my desk, plug up a single USB-c cable (it came with one), and done. The screen wakes up. Changing the menu settings feels natural and intuitive which is a plus. The game Ive played, using this monitor makes games more immersive. Win-win!

> 3 dayVery pleased with this monitor now. Even though I cant run it at full resolution due to my ancient nvidia GT3somthing. Even at 2560x1080, the picture looks great. Usually when you run a monitor lower than its native res, it looks really grainy. This one, while not as sharp as the full res, does not look all that grainy. My big problem when I first plugged it in was that my mouse was extremely jumpy. I look all over for help and solutions and found none. Everyone said it was the mouse driver, which I knew wasnt true because when I lowered to 1280x1024, the mouse worked perfectly. Dropping down to lower widescreen resolutions didnt help though. So I spent some time messing around in all the various settings apps and discovered that nvidia, by default, was treating this as a television. Meaning refresh rate was 24hz! No wonder my mouse was so choppy. So I changed it from TV to monitor mode and it brought the refresh rate up to 30hz at 3440×1440 which was better, but still choppy. So I switched to 2560x1080 and that brought the refresh rate to 60hz. And now my mouse is perfect again. So, I guess I have to get a new computer to take full advantage of this monitor. But Dell or nvidia or microsoft or somebody should change this monitor profile to default to monitor mode. Not TV mode.

> 3 dayThis is a gorgeous monitor, elegant and professional looking. I can’t stop looking at it. Lol! Set up is a breeze, was able to do it all on my own in 10-15 mins. I connected it to the display port and I was able to use it right away, no set up needed. No dead pixel, no bleeding, no IPS glow. Day1, it felt a little too big though I am coming from three monitors - 17/19/20”. But the next day it feels normal and it has so much real estate that I don’t miss having multiple monitors. I use the comfort view preset mode and it’s really easy on my eyes. I don’t need to use my blue light glasses anymore. Brightness is really good, I had to reduce mine from 75% to 53% cause 75% was too bright for me that I felt I was getting headaches (I have sensitive eyes to light). I use this monitor for work only - mostly emails and spreadsheets and it’s really pleasant to use. Text is sharp enough for what I am using the monitor for. Can’t complain with the pictures either though I do not use this for photo/video editing. It doesn’t have a speaker but I am planning to get the Dell slim soundbar soon. I haven’t tried the KVM/PIP/PBP features because I don’t have the need to do so as of the moment. My only minor complaint is that it’s hard to reach the ports at the back of the monitor. I have mine set up close to the wall and when I tried to use the HDMI/USB-C cable to test them, I had to move the entire monitor to see and reach the back. Also I wish it’s a little more curved, but I didn’t want to spend $300-$500 more for the Dell U3421WE model. So I decided to go with this P3421W monitor. I really want to stay with Dell monitors because of the quality. I have a sit stand desk and a very stable stand is a must so it won’t fall forward or move everytime I adjust my desk. And 3600R is not bad at all. It’s still comfortable to use, I can still see all corners without moving my head which is important to me cause moving my head left to right (even little movements) strains my neck. I love that height is adjustable, it tilts and swivels too. Makes it easier to customize for a more comfortable position. Yes, I’m very happy with my purchase!

> 3 dayMonitor is really nice and Super bright. In my opinion it is the perfect amount of screen space for most users. The particular one I received had a little flickering and caused eye strain so I sent it back. I am guessing it is something with the one I had and not an inherent problem. Have not reordered a replacement yet.

> 3 dayNot the best pixel density (not in par with Macbook screens, as you should expect) but good quality screen overall. Built sturdy. Matte screen. Easy to adjust for your desired height and angle. Swivels horizontally.
