Buy a Dell adapter not a clone. The adapter in the picuture was sold to me along with a Dell Lattitude 6530 and had a new battery installed in it. The power in it finally ran out as the adapter would not recharge the battery. I thought there was something wrong with the computer. Found out it was the adapter. The specs on the bad adapter were 90W and 4.62 amps. While it will power your computer, it will not charge the battery. Also, the battery will deteriorate rapidly if it is not recharged and left to run down; I bought a new battery and this new charger and hope to have a long lasting union. It is a slick device ergonomically and has a neat LED ribbon light at the end to indicate the power on status. 4 stars for durability as it was only just purchased.

Purchased as backup since original was left at another location at the time of purchase; exact OEM replacement; now able to leave one a remote location and one at home location; no worries now whether I packed it backpack or not

My dog chewed the thin side of the charger so I needed a replacement for it, the thick side still worked. I ordered this and the two parts they sent me did not fit together, as the thick side they sent was too big. Luckily for me I had the thick side from my old charger but if i had lost my charger or had both sides broken it would have been a useless buy. Unfortunately, despite all this the charging adapter as a whole is now acting up and not charging my computer. I had to order a charger here on amazon because of covid-19, but I highly recommend just going to a tech shop to test out the chargers before you buy them and talk with someone who can help you.

Inexpensive way to keep my laptop charging.

Sleek and compact. The length of the cord is nice, it’s long enough without having too much cord. It remains quite cool, does not overheat like cheap 3rd-party chargers.

Arrived and performed as promised.

It charges fast but the battery dies faster. Do not recommend it unless you can be near a power outlet all the time.

This was the exact cord I wanted to replace my old one......that came apart where the light part and the cord come together. Hopefully this one will last a long time. My only complaint was it took over 3 weeks to get it. And they did say that on the listing, but seriously, it seemed like a super long time. I was just relieved that it was the correct cord for my Dell!
