Greater than one weekGoing over the specs I came to realize it wasn’t going to have that much more storage than I already had in my older laptop. So I returned this item.

05-06-2025Buyer beware - I bought this laptop specifically because it is advertised as running Windows 10 as that is what I needed to run a specific software program. It comes preinstalled with Windows 11. update: Mar 23,2022 after owning 3 months the hinge has failed like several others have noted - this is with very light use - cant close it now - very disappointed

Greater than one weekFirst thing to know is that this is a 2020 model and Dell warranties are expired. I ordered this product twice. The first time, I received an Inspiron 3510, which had a slower processor and only one ram slot. Second order, the correct model was delivered, but product details indicate this PC has BOTH a 128 GB SSD and a 500 GB HDD. It has only the 128 GB SSD. Sellers response was that this was a typo despite it being in several places on this listing (and this model PC CAN have both). They offered a $10 credit, which is laughable considering its missing an $80 part. Its being returned and Im done here. Note: the listing has since been modified to take out a few of the references to a 500 GB HDD (I believe this was done at my own request during a customer service call--seller did not seem to care) but it still appears there at least once as of 9/20/22.

> 3 dayIve always LOVED Dell Desktop computers. Ive had several throughout many years. But Id never heard anything about Dell laptops. Knowing that Dell makes the best desktops (in my opinion!), I decided to try the laptop. I couldnt believe how fast I fell in love with this laptop. Ive had it for over a month now, using it for several hours each day & I have only found 2 problems with it: The color on the display is dull. Not the correct colors. I mean, I dont know the technical terms for all this, but it seems like the coloring that the display shows, is of low quality. It isnt HDR so its kind of upsetting. I like to have brilliant color. The 2nd problem is the keyboard. The keys are cramped together so its hard for me to type because I have big fingers. I usually type 95 wpm but on this keyboard I make so many mistakes that its like I cant type at all!! Id like the keys more spread out. All laptops seem to have cramped keys, but this one is worse. But, even with those 2 annoyances, I LOVE THIS DELL LAPTOP!!! The price for it was unbelievable! Im only going to buy Dells from now on. The customer service is Old School, which means they care. I will add to this in a couple of months so you can see that I will still love my Dell!! January 22, 2022 - Ive had my Dell for almost 5 months now. Like I said, I STILL LOVE MY DELL!! Im getting used to the keys a little bit but I bought a keyboard & attached it to my laptop & it works great. Like I said in my earlier review, Dells are the best desktop computers, & now I can honestly say that they make the best laptops too. Its worth it to spend a little more because youll have your Dell for WAY longer than any other brand. Soooooo, to sum it all up, I LOVE MY DELL LAPTOP!!! LOLOL

> 3 dayWhen I received the laptop it powered up got it all set up and it was running fine. Today two or three weeks later it would not power up. I had a Tech look at it and he determined that the laptop was dead and useless. Unfortunately my return window has passed so Im out a little over $300 for a laptop that doesnt work

> 3 dayWe were looking to get a second laptop as the pandemic had pushed both my partner and I to be working from home. We werent looking for anything fancy, but we needed more oomph than a Chromebook. This Dell fit the bill. Its not going to wow you, but its got enough power to support web browsing, doc and presentation creation, and graphic design programs all at once. It moves along at a nice clip, as well. Its not incredibly heavy, but its certainly not designed as a lightweight solution. My one real complaint is that the mouse touchpad is awkwardly positioned and configured, which can slow me down while Im trying to switch between applications. All in all, Id recommend it as a basic and affordable option, but dont expect it to turn heads.
