Dell SE2216HV 22 Screen LED-Lit Monitor, black

Bought this as a gift for my grandson and he is loving it. He uses it with a gaming PC his parents bought him and it works great. Excellent product for the price!

We absolutely LOVE these monitors! Our Architecture office has 3 of them now. Office production is faster because of the large monitors, definitely a good investment. Pricing here is great, and shipping was fast. *** Had to update my review, within 1 month the screen was flickering with horizontal bars and we had to send it back. It was right at the end of the 30 days and we nearly missed the window to send it back. I still love this monitor, but reordered from Office Depot with a 2 year warranty.

This is a VGA monitor, which I lament I did not think it would be. I ordered a new PC bundle and luckily my swanky GPU also accepts VGA connections, so I am able to use it. I am completely satisfied. This monitor looks great and is lightweight, but not cheap. It arrived excellently packaged in the manufacturers packing, so I will hang onto it for when I move home in future. The monitor arrived covered in a plastic film which protects it from dust and fingerprints. There are options including Energy, Display, Color, Auto Adjust, Brightness/Contrast, Menu, Personalize, and Others. Personalize permits the use of Shortcut presets. Others options includes DDC/CI, LCD Conditioning, Reset and Factory Reset. Since I only know what 2 of those do, I am leaving the other 2 alone. The picture is clear and full HD quality as advertised and it looks just like the picture. The stand slides right into the monitor and that snaps onto base, with a smooth tilt feature. It looks night and performs as hoped for. I recommend installing the drivers from the disc that comes with it.

i bought it for a user in the company and she is very happy with it. she is using windows 10 and says that everything is crystal clear

to use on a new computer you need an adapter to connect new computers do not have the blue serial port. was easy to connect by getting HDMI to serial adapter

It started randomly flickering after a year of use. It worked great for a year. I guess its a hit or a miss with this one. I think $189 for a year-long life is a bit much.

Ive had one of these for about 6 months and just ordered another for a 2nd monitor today. Its a great monitor. Im very pleased with it.

I work in IT as a database developer and I have used Dell monitors for years. They are solid, durable and they last for years. At work I have two Dell 27 monitors on a Windows platform and can appreciate the sharpness and clarity of the screen. When I replaced an 8 year old iMac at home with a Mac mini this year, I opted to go with a MacMini and two 27 Dell monitors as opposed to the 27 iMac and a 2nd monitor. This setup is great. Changing the setup configuration is easy from the buttons on the lower right of the monitor. Dells technology with monitors is superb. I recommend them.

Great monitor but was disappointed when it did not contain the cord which gave me the ability to hook into a laptop station.

Im looking at it now as I type and cant imagine how many years I looked at my old small monitor. Good sturdy stand and the lighted on/off button is easy to find on the bottom panel.
