This version snaps together, rather than requiring screws (slightly less expensive version from the same company). Snapping together is worth the $2. I recommend using two medium pliers to get enough pressure to get the pieces to snap into place, but once done it is very tight and sturdy. Pins also snap into place and are quite secure. Pins are tall enough to hold 2 spools or numerous bobbins. I bought 4 and am reveling in the organization!

I love this. I have four (yes I have that much embroidery thread!). They go together easy, and hold the thread at just the right angle.

Didn’t have any problems with assembly. I had the wooden holder previously, and I like this better.

I use the product for all my embroidery thread. Wish it was a little stronger though.

OK, It was a hard placing the pegs in the holes.

Missing spindles found! Very sorry

I love it but mine was missing one pin

The thread holder seems pretty sturdy and will work well but I’m missing 2 spindles. I don’t know who to get in touch with to send them to me.
