Have it for the garage… rolls well, very comfortable… only but is when fully extended can easily be tripped… try not roll too fast with it… and use for its intended use only and you should be happy with it

Extremely well-made. However it is a little tall and you need to be careful that you don’t tip it over when you’re sitting on the edge. Heavy duty.

20220407: I love DeWalt stuff, and wanted to give this 5 stars, but the base is not wide enough. If the seat is raised up it is _very_ easy to tip over. The wheels are a bit stiff, so trying to slide around with a higher seat tends to make the seat tip over. Lowering the seat and using your legs more keeps it stable, but DeWalt could have done much better by simply making the base wider. The base is almost exactly the same width as the seat, so the entire unit is less stable, tall and skinny. Assembly was extra-easy. The units comes in three pieces: the seat, the neck, and the base. Put the neck into the base, place the seat on the neck, adjust the height once, and it is ready to go. DeWalt provides some flat feet if you want to remove the casters. I did not use them, but maybe there is some scenario where that would be useful. Construction: the base is steel with DeWalt-yellow baked on enamel. If I read correctly, DeWalt has an accessory system that probably allows some small items to be attached to the base. The U-channels have a pattern cut into the steel that seems to be for attaching something. Ive not looked into that too much, so cant say any more about that. The wheels are about medium size, and heavy, but they dont turn as easily as I would have liked (see my comment above on tipping too easily). The seat is solid and comfortable. Overall, it is a good solid work stool.

We bought this after going through several less expensive rolling stools, which would last about a year before failing in always an embarrassing fashion. This was quite the upgrade for us, but this stool is a little more vocal than it’s predecessors. It complains almost constantly. There are audible creaking and squeaking noises when in use. At first it was compliant and never uttered a sound, but after a couple months, it started to talk back. We hope it continues to perform admirably, despite the frequent cries for help.

Great stool I got one for my garage and my boss ordered two for the shop because he liked them

This is a very nice stool to have at my workbench. It doesn’t go low enough for me to work on vehicles at my comfort level, but it is an incredibly strong piece and again working out very well at the work bench and I will definitely recommend this to everyone.

I thought because of the name it would be worth the cost, I read the reviews and it seemed pretty good, and looked at some that cost more and some less..... it is not worth the name it says. The seat wouldnt be worth half the cost, it would not be something you would want to use regularly and it would piss you off sitting in the corner. Its stiff and has no real cushion or give to it. I guess the height didnt cross my mind, to see a shop stool is starts off lower and goes up to a medium height so you can work on stuff you are building.... most people in a shop, if your working on the work bench or assembly bench most people stand and might like a stool occasionally .....this is only good for sitting at a work area that is as high as a counter or a bar.... its lowest spot is higher than an office chair. And set at its lowest height, my feet barely hit the floor flat and Im of average height....this would not be of use for working on anything low, you would be hunched over the whole time while trying to work. I think Dewalt made a big mistake putting their name on this. Their bar stools, would be a hit a bar. These would be a hit at a theme set dinning area....but of not much use, and a reminder of money wasted on a piece of eye candy of no practical use in a shop. But it would be cool around a fire pit with some after work refreshments.
