DEWALT Socket Set, 1/4-Inch & 3/8-Inch Drive, SAE/Metric, 34-Piece (DWMT73804)

Ive saved so much money using this tool working on my own car. Still no problems even with me using an impact with the sockets.

It has a go handle carry it around easily and the ratchet is really nice with fine teeth , great for keeping in the car or walking around a junk yard to pull parts off dead cars in a pinch when you don’t feel like carrying a bucket and losing sockets, the case is sturdy stays closed easy to carry , I love this little set

Its a really nice ratchet set but I really wouldnt recommend it for people who work in the dark or on a farm. I keep losing pieces while working in the back hay field. They just seem to disappear in the grass. I love the black coating its very nice but it probably going to go back to the silver ones.

For the DIY mechanics this will give years of service. For the money a great socket set IMO.

Picked this impact set half off the other day. The case with detachable tray is great. Nice and quality. Dewalt is always great stuff. Both SAE and metric in a decent range of sizes compared to other sets. Used with my ryobi impact for a brake job and removing seats that were installed with red locktite no problems. EDIT: added pictures of the set, wanted to show the removable tray since it’s a cool feature. It’s nice and thick plastic, feels solid. Compared to the molded/blown plastic drawers on my craftsman three tier set, this is miles better.

Overall a solid little kit. The only gripe I have is that anything smaller than the 11mm will require you to put an adapter on the end of your ratchet. It is tiny, and not cumbersome, but could cause a few issues for your use case, something to consider at least. Other than that though, its Dewalt. Good quality, and sturdy case construction.
