I a new welder, and I still have problems with leaving minor amounts of slag with MIG welds even with the hammer. But I throw this on my grinder and problem solved! I think this is slightly overpriced but I wouldnt want to go without one, so Ill be buying another soon Im sure.

Seems to hold up very well. Used for several projects now and virtually no wear showing yet.

This is a bad mofo, it chews through paint and rust and knocks of small slag, it does a good job at prepping metal for welding, I cant complain, the wires stay tight and have only had a few dislodge so wear safety glasses and leather gloves, much safer then other cheap brads that fall apart, you pay for what you get always remember that when buying tools.

Its wire wound up to go in a very fast circular motion, it works well.

Ive been using this wire wheel to grind the rust off of my 1 ton dually frame and axles seems to do the job very well

I use these on everything, especially restoring old trucks. It chews rust completely off without at all harming the metal. Kinda like a very aggressive sander. Just be sure to wear gloves as when one of these bristles comes loose you will feel it haha!
