Dewit Rockn Root Trowel, Garden Tool for Roots and Planting

My garden is full of rocks, which makes planting hard. This spring I broke two hand shovels until I met this one. Beautiful product, sturdy and easy to use.

Bought this for digging a hole in the sand for my beach umbrella. It is the perfect tool for this.

I needed this entirely for the length, which is about two inches longer than a standard digger. When taking out plants, such as wild hyacinths, regular diggers wont reach the bottom of the bulb, as this tool will. Love it. Remember that it is not stainless steel or coated like most diggers, so keep it clean and oiled to preserve it.

Sturdy equipment. I bought 3 in case I lose one ( or2)

Beautiful tool looks well-made, Ive not used it yet, so time will tell regarding durability.

Its a sturdy tool. Strong blade and handle. No complaints.

Wish it had a narrower point. I use it for digging weeds and some huge roots in soil more clay and rocks than anything else. Its strong enough I have not yet bent it but a sharper point would mean it would go in more easily. I have a couple of DeWits wider garden trowels, but I find I have to be careful, as the stem between the blade and the shovel can bend. Must quickly note nobody elses garden trowel has been able to stand up to the use I put it through, this one has, and even the wider ones take more abuse than any other trowel I have tried. Am experimenting with grinding the end of it sharper. So far so good, its an improvement.

I LOVE this tool! I shouldve bought it years ago. If you work in the yard, planting flowers or weeding, you will absolutely love this. Made in Denmark, not China, so it was responsibly made and very well made. Very sturdy! I have arthritis, so this is a lifesaver!

I was looking for a companion to another trowel that I love, this one from DeWit is a bit wider and with defined, sharper edges that cuts through small vegetation to create a great planing hole. A great addition to my planting toolbox.
