Dewit Rockn Root Trowel, Garden Tool for Roots and Planting

Very sturdy tool that performs as well as I hoped, and better than I expected. It is so well made that I expect it to outlast me.

liked everything, especially robust narrow thick curved steel, curved chisel front edge & working length of blade.

This tool is a quality piece that makes planting your starts super easy. The weight is wonderful and the size is very helpful. The edges of the trowel are just sharp enough to cut through the soil. The entire DeWit line is Quality !

I needed this entirely for the length, which is about two inches longer than a standard digger. When taking out plants, such as wild hyacinths, regular diggers wont reach the bottom of the bulb, as this tool will. Love it. Remember that it is not stainless steel or coated like most diggers, so keep it clean and oiled to preserve it.

This Dewitt trowel is okay. I guess I expected higher quality for the price. In the pictures the tools look black and are described as HAND FORDGED so I assumed this trowel wood be made of heavy black wrought iron. Instead this tool is extremely light weight the metal is a gray color and doesnt seem anything special. I was expecting something more heirloom quality; the type that you can pass down from generation to generation! I purchased the other tools as well and am awaiting their arrival. I hope they are a bit more impressive than this one as theyre a bit more expensive than this one. When you add them all up your paying well over $100 dollars for a four piece garden tool set! I even want to buy some leather straps to fashion a hanging strap for each tool. For the price they charge they should already have the leather hanging strap! Im a bit disappointed but I will make my final determination when I see the whole set together.

I LOVE this tool! I shouldve bought it years ago. If you work in the yard, planting flowers or weeding, you will absolutely love this. Made in Denmark, not China, so it was responsibly made and very well made. Very sturdy! I have arthritis, so this is a lifesaver!

Its a sturdy tool. Strong blade and handle. No complaints.

Beautiful tool looks well-made, Ive not used it yet, so time will tell regarding durability.
