I bought this for a HAM radio antenna for my Jeep after a YouTuber recommended it. Quality appears to be excellent. I really like how you can adjust the angles easily with high flexibility and the paint protection/anti-rattle pads. I don’t like the way the ground wire works (basically just tighten a tiny screw through your paint until it hits metal)... this likely isn’t a good long term connection strategy for a high vibration application. It’s early days, but already I’m thinking a better placement is in the rear behind the spare. I had wanted it on the opposite corner from my CB to avoid interference if both were on at once, but I think pragmatically this isn’t likely to ever happen and I’d rather have a cleaner look and no sight line interference.

I replaced my HAM antenna mag mount with this unit and I couldn’t be happier. They’re meant to install over trunk lid or door edge but it fits perfectly on my Prinsu aluminum roof rack. It sturdy, well grounded and the smaller diameter wire was easy to run through the truck. The included clips made it easy to secure the wire in the door jams without allowing the wire to be pinched or kinked. I bought another mount for my GMRS antenna mount I liked it so much!

Hooked up nicely on my 2009 Jeep Rubicon. I mated this with a Larsen 2/70 and it works really well. Larsen claims that you dont have to tune that antenna. Ill be honest, I hooked it all up and went for a drive and I was shocked at how good the reception was. I havent changed anything.

    Greater than one week

Mount is too big for most compact hatchbacks. Best used for HF antennas. Comet makes a better mount for VHF/UHF on compact hatches.

It works for me, clean connection to hood jk , my cb is in back , you should keep all antennas away from each other at lest length of antennas for better use

I mounted this on the hood of my Escape. The best part about this is that I can leave the antenna on my Escape whenever I pull into the garage. Before, I was using a mag mount.

Easy to install with included Allen wrench tool. Sturdy and well built. Teflon coating on cable for weather proof design. NMO mount can easily be rotated to for stream line appearances.

The mount is OK but I’d like to notice all people that before making a purchase please find an appropriate place of your vehicle and gauge a little bit. Ford Edge 2019+ does not have any place in trunk for this mount, I eventually mounted it on the hood lip. The hood rubber seal will have to sacrifice a little bit though.

This mount works great on the hatch of our Town & Country. It’s easy to access vs a roof / roof rack mount!

Trunk / Lip / Hatchback Mount Strongest, most universal, style of mobile mount 2-Axis adjustment provides placement flexibility No Holes / Drilling Required Rubber pad protects mounting surface Recommended for larger antennas NMO to SMA with 13.5" RG-316 Teflon coax cable
