I have tried various coverings to prevent any damage to the printer but she always claws through the flimsy material and gets the cover off. The cover is really durable and I am hoping that this will prevent any damage happening to the printer

Greater than one weekI bought this because the Brothers Printer that I have doesnt have a method of preventing dust from getting into the document feeder and scanner. Sine I use my printer for personnel use and dont use it very frequently there is the potential for a lot of dust build up. This thing is made out of a very durable canvas or canvas like material. I cant see any reason that this cover wont outlast the printer itself. I would definitely purchase this again if I found myself in the unlikely scenario of owning more than one printer.

What harm can a little dust do?
By the time you see that fine layer of dust on top of your printer, you can be certain at least 3 times that amount of dust has been sucked in thru the vents and holes outside, settling into its internal components that are used to run the printer.
