You need to be careful that the number on your controller matches or can interface with your system. If you do that, the chances that it will work out go way up.

Worked great on our direct tv unit. Easy to setup.

Great price for 2 remote controls. Easy to set to operate my Sony TV. Using the new remote, I went to Direct TV menu, settings, remote, TV and then following the directions on the screen. My TV was the first code that came up. We did not use the batteries that came with the remote but instead used Energizer batteries.

Both remote controls worked perfectly with my DirecTV HD-21 receivers. I didnt use the cheap batteries that came with the remotes, but that is typical of remote controls. Besides, at the low price for two remote controls, I dont care that they include cheap batteries. The remotes also include stickers with words like Den, etc. printed on them to help you keep track of where each remote belongs.
