Great price for 2 remote controls. Easy to set to operate my Sony TV. Using the new remote, I went to Direct TV menu, settings, remote, TV and then following the directions on the screen. My TV was the first code that came up. We did not use the batteries that came with the remote but instead used Energizer batteries.

Even though I’m unable to program with my TV because Samsung is not on the list, it still works.

You need to be careful that the number on your controller matches or can interface with your system. If you do that, the chances that it will work out go way up.

Purchased for mom. Didnt realize she was paying a monthly fee for the extra remote. Got these, sync with tv.. works great. Mom returned DirecTV extra remote, no more monthly fees, saving her $100 a year... especially being that shes retired..
