Inside the box is a note, dont need to go back to store. If not thrilled ,well make it right. This vacuum does not do well on thick pile. I reported it wants to nosedive into the pile and I have to lower the handle almost all the way to the floor to keep it going. The response was pretty much, you do have to go back to the store and get a better one with adjustable height. Works good otherwise. I paid $50. at Amazon, then saw it at Walmart for $44.

I know weird gift, but he has a dog that sheds a lot and he is tidy, it’s what he wanted. So we are both happy! Hopefully he will think of his granny sometimes when he uses it!

But you cant adjust height for different carpets.

This vacuum cleaner really sucks up a lot of dirt that you dont even see. Has made my home feel so much cleaner. Works well on multi-surfaces. I honestly love it. I have gone through a ton of vacuum cleaners and this by far is my favorite. Honestly any Dirt Devil is great but the ones with a filter are amazing because it makes the air feel clean. Highly recommend.

Powerful vacuum works great but the plastic parts holding the tubes started to fray after a few times

Vaccuum works well once its assembled, and performs well for the price -- but my biggest gripe is the horrific non-intuitive design of this thing. The support materials are not good, Ive had to watch numerous videos on YouTube and you can all of the negative comments from others - so I know Im not alone.
