> 3 dayI have had many vacuums, to include a $1500 Kirby, Dyson, Shark, and other high end brands. My most recent $300 vacuum just died….it actually caught fire while I was using it. I was tired of spending large sums on vacuums and not being able to tell the difference when I was done cleaning. So, I got a $70 one to try. My last cleaner died after I cleaned the entry room, a day before I got this new dirt devil. It seemed to have picked up the same volume of dirt and what not that the other cleaner did and I had just cleaned a day prior (nothing out of the usually happened in the entry way in the meantime) So, yeah… I have had this for a day but it seems to be working just fine. It’s not heavy, maybe a little louder than my last one, but seems to clean just the same for 1/4 of the cost. Maybe my opinion will change in a year, but for now I’m happy with it.

Greater than one weekI received my dirt devil on or about January 15th 2021. Item would not pick up put hair and would not clean floors unless it was a carpet. Hard wood floors or any other it would not pick up anything on them. Then around mid December 2022 the brush in the front of the vacuum cleaner just stopped working and the under side had white smoke coming out of it. I think I paid 45 dollars and some change for it with tax and shipping and all, but the item still didnt even last 2 years working the way its described it should. My cats tend to get food and litter on the floor, and the vacuum wouldnt even pick up the litter. In my opinion, this item is not worth the time or the trouble people plan on investing in it. Use it at your own risk...

> 3 dayPurchased this vacuum just recently. I have a small apartment (hard wood floors) and thought it would be just what I needed. It is light weight and compact and has a good suction. However, because it is so light weight, it tends to tip over a lot. Also, the hose that is used for the attachments is very stiff and doesnt reach far causing the vacuum to slide around. Also (and I could be doing something wrong) when the vacuum is in operation, the air vent tends to blow air into my face. Not sure whats going on there. This is my first experience with a vacuum with filters. I think I prefer the bag and would rather not have to wash the filter every time I vacuum. I guess its okay for the money, but you get what you pay for so I wouldnt expect to be thrilled.

> 3 dayPlenty of size and power for cleaning smaller rooms and stairways. Easy to use and empty the bin. Does struggle a little with taller/thicker carpet but not bad.
