My mistake for not reading the full description. This is just the cap. It is a nice quality cap, but for close to the same price you can get the full part.

This is a nicely made cover, the finish is well done. The color does compliment the colors in my kitchen well, so I am happy with the black finish. It is a flat, not gloss finish, so around the sink it won’t show smudges as well as one that is chrome finished. I simply removed my old one dropped this one on and that was it. Nothing complicated about it. The metal isn’t real thick, but since I can’t imagine it is going to be abused much sitting on my counter, I anticipate it stay looking good for a long time. Fit and finish is great and I would recommend it to anyone looking to match their black fixtures and appliances.

This took under a minute to install - I screwed off the old one, that had a foam looking sealer that showed. I was able to put this black one over and screw it on over the foam sealer. It looks so good. Some of the other reviewers note that you can see the white pipe inside. I just turned mine so that the two vent holes face away from the viewer. It looks beautiful. Super sturdy and I am guessing it will last forever.

I have a black sink and faucet and my old stainless steel gap cover stuck out like a sore thumb. Its amazing how something so small can make such a big difference! It popped right on and looks great!

I never thought to check my air gap size to ensure that it would fit. However, after getting this one and trying it on, it fit perfectly. The only thing i wish I had was a black band to match it so that it wouldn’t expose the beige one underneath. But that’s no fault of the manufacturer at all. I like how it feels as it’s smooth but not shiny. Has a somewhat matte look to it and fit like a glove. It’s well made with no scratches or scuffs and works just as well as the other one that I had. highly pleased.

I like the color of the cover. It is a matte black finish just like my facet is. It matches my sink facet and visually looks so much better than the plastic one I had on there. I like the size of the cover. It fully encloses the air tube. I like weight of the cover. It is nice and heavy due to being made of copper so it is not lite weight. I do not have to worry about it cracking down the middle like the others that cost as much but are plastic in body and have to be replaced every couple of years. I do believe this will hinder the growth of mold inside the cover. It was easy to install and snapped right down and stay’s on. I have enclosed pictures so you can make an informed decision based on your own personal needs. Yes, I would recommend this product.

Despite this Dishwasher Air Gap Cover being described as being a Universal Size, it was too wide for my Dishwasher’s Air Gap. I have to find a Way to replace the old, non-matching Cover with this modern-looking, sleek, Black Air Gap Cover to match the remaining Black and Stainless-Steel Theme of my Kitchen. Compared to the old Cover, this new Air Gap Cover is so much sturdier and made from Brass. The Outside is painted over.

This air vent cover feels solid and has a good weight to it - I have had them split and fail before, but this one feels different. The flared base is a perfect fit for the shoulder of the vent flange (see pic). I show a pic of the shoulder diameter because that is critical for a good fit but it is not mentioned in the item description. This cover makes an eyesore disappear, recommended!

Before and after: so much better. Fits perfect, sturdy, great value and obviously easy to install as you just set on the vent. Not much else to say, other then if you don’t have a matching one like I didn’t get one!
