DJ Bag (Shoulder Bag, Adjustable Strap, Water Resistant, Vinyl Records, Zippered Compartment, 1000D)

I bought one of these nearly 13 years ago to use as a college student. I abused this thing for two years while lugging it around full of heavy accounting textbooks. While it has seen much gentler use during the past 11 years, I still use it often. I also throw it in the washer on occasion, particularly if Ive spilled something on or, more likely, inside it. Unless you look at it closely, it still looks new and Im sure I have years of life left in this bag. It only has one compartment with a zipper, the rest being open but for the flap, and thats never been a problem for me personally. Thats the only reason I could see someone deducting even a single star from this bag so I thought I should at least mention it.

I bought this bag for my daily commute to work. Usually, Im carrying my iPad, a magazine, keys, sunglasses, and other various sundries. When I received the bag, I was disappointed because it seemed way too small, but I was pleasantly surprised - its much roomier than it appears. I was looking for something in between a backpack and a briefcase that I could use for work or weekends, and this fits the bill. My only complaint is that I wish this had an outside pocket or two for quick access to keys, water bottle, etc. Would definitely recommend nonethelss. Excellent value.

I bought the blue version of this bag for my daughter when she entered 1st grade. She is now in 4th grade and using the same bag. Not only has it held up well, it STILL looks brand new! Even after 3-1/2 years of going back and forth to school and doubling as a carry-on in planes, there is not one frayed thread or any sign of wear at all. The most Ive done to clean is it run a wet cloth over it at the end of the school year. Food has spilled in it but hasnt caused stains or odor. Its one of those things that you look back on fondly as being a great investment. The simple design makes it timeless and appealing to all ages. I wouldnt be surprised if it lasts through her middle school years. Ill be leaving another glowing review when it does!

Bought this bag because a friend of mine has it but in a different color. I decided to go with the black color and this bag although simple, is one of the best bags Ive ever purchase. Simple, lightweight, extra zipper pocket, durable and most importantly, I use it everyday !!

Durable, stylish travel bag. I purchased it for a trip to Italy and it didnt disappoint. I purchased the small shoulder strap separately which is absolutely necessary if you plan on carrying anything of weight.

I love the look and feel of this bag. Its a real basic, simple messenger bag. The only thing I wish it had more functional and smaller pockets under the flap for storage of small things.

It was the perfect bag for trekking around Europe. When I returned, I used it for school and I use it to tote LPs around. I am planning on buying another. Sturdy and well made. Worth the money.

It holds books, her laptop, water bottle, accessories, even her hoodie. The strap is wide so it doesnt cut into her shoulder. I might have to buy another one for myself.

The bag is spacious, durable, and attractive (for a bag). It would be very useful to have a handle strap in addition to the shoulder strap.
