DMC Color Chart with the threads!! Just what I needed. I already had the printed color chart but it jus didn’t cut it. Having the actual thread to see and compare is priceless. Love it!

This card contains the 35 new regular colors, plus other specialty ones as well, including variegated and the E-series, and thickness samples for the Perle coton series. Youll have to make a bit of effort to make sense of the numbering method, but its not hard to use, and with this card in hand you can match any thread quickly and easily. If youve never bought a color card, you may be tempted to go with the cheaper printed card. Trust me, its worth the price difference to get this one - you get *actual thread samples,* not a photo, which makes all the difference. This is my second color card. Im amazed by how different it is from my first one bought years ago. DMC was always the best in the business but they did not rest on their laurels - they continue to expand the range of available colors, thickness and textures. Well done DMC.

I got this for a gift for my friend and she loves it and says it is exactly what she needed and it helps her a lot with identifying colors. It has the real threads on it so comparing colors is easier than if it was ink on a page.

Corners are damaged. Not sure if it’s worth replacing. :(

The product itself is great. The stranded version is fabulous for color matching.... but the shipping.... 1st one recieved was damaged from only being in a bubble mailer, contacted customer sevice and was assured that the replacement would be better packaged.... well that showed up in an identical bubble mailer, contacted customer service again and was told that they cant really do anything about that. Super disappointed because it would be 5 stars easy if Amazon could figure out that it needs to be in a box

A card looks good: hight quality print and samples. There are all kinds DMC treads including metallic colors and multicolor treads. But it has weakness. If an embroiderer look often at this color guide, the covers edges can damage quickly. People usually buy a color card for using long time and the cover should be harder.

It is a lovely book. I would rate higher but unfortunately it arrived damaged. Amazon did help resolve that.
