Great addition to the main game! It ads an extra phase in your turn called night phase. Very interesting.

This newest expansion for Dominion adds a new night phase with some of the cards, as well as boons (good effects), Hexes (negative effects) and heirlooms (replacing coppers with better currency cards). After playing a couple of games, I look forward to playing it more, and mixing it with other expansions.

Hands down the best Dominion yet.

Interesting new variation on the game. Not essential to have, but fun if you play Dominion frequently.

It is the second to last expansions I purchased of all expansions, last being Alchemy.

This is one of the wildest expansions Ive played for Dominion. Boons and hexes provide randomized positive and negative effects, night cards change up the strategy in a really unique way, and heirlooms add variety to the start of the game. If youre looking for an expansion that will give you interesting strategic options to use to defeat your friends, that isnt too luck-based, this expansion might not be for you due to the randomness of boons/hexes and combo cards like Leprechaun. If you want an expansion that is lighthearted, fun, and sometimes chaotic or silly, check out Nocturne.

The set is very complicated for basically no reason considering most cards are duds and all this set does is complicate the game.
