This is a great game for kids (middle school and up), parents, grand-parents and friends. It is modeled after Scrabble but has no board and the rules are simple. It is easily portable. NO BATTERIES NEEDED !!!

As many have complained, the ones I got appeared counterfeit. I had never owned Bananagrams before, so I didnt realize that they were substandard to start with, but I bought another set in a brick & mortar game store and discovered what proper ones are like. Dont buy them on Amazon, because youll get ripped off. The double set that I received from Amazon was two small banana bags with letters that were not solid; they had large cylindrical holes in the back. The double set that I got at the store was in one large banana bag, and the pieces were solid. Much cheaper build quality from the set you get here, and the packaging is like buying two single sets instead of buying one double set.

If you have never played Bananagrams before then you should get this for yourself, friends and family. Our son introduced this game to us and we play it all the time. Enjoy!
