Dove Advanced Hair Series Serum-In-Oil, Regenerative Nourishment 1.69 oz

I am a black woman with 4b/4c hair and I used this to blow out my natural hair. My hair was so straight (like a nice kinky straight), my hair was so smooth and soft, there was zero frizz. I did not use a concentrator on my blow dryer, just the blow dryer and a paddle brush. After using this product for a blowout my hair was so light and fluffy. I LOVED IT! Perfect for a blow out before braids or a roller set, pin curls, rod set curls, and curls from Bantu knots. The scent I did not 100% care for, it does not stink its just not fabulous. The scent would not be my #1 pick as it was super basic, nothing chic about the fragrance. So maybe cover with your favorite light serum, perfume, or very light sheen/shine spray.

Its not moist for my hair

I love this stuff! I went from black to blonde hair, so needless to say it was prettt fried. But Ive been using this stuff for about a month now & I can definitely tell a difference with my ends. I use it every time I wash my hair, put about three pumps on my wet hair. Works great!

My wife says: This hair oil is EVERYTHING! I have really thin hair and I can use 4 pumps without my hair feeling greasy. After 3 days, my hair is incredibly soft and still has a lot of volume. Side note: the first package came and it looked like the top had come loose during shipping. I reached out to the seller through Amazon and they sent me a new one immediately and I even got to keep the old one. This is a great product and great customer service too!

This is a nice post-shampoo/conditioner product that gives my hair a very soft and almost fluffy feeling while controlling frizz. For those of us with significant amounts of gray hair, which seems to frizz far more than any of us want, this works perfectly to bring back considerable control. The packaging is a little misleading: it looks like there are two components to the product which one would mix by shaking and then apply. The red component, however, is simply the external wrapper; the entire product has the deep yellow color of oil as one would typically expect. After application, there is a brief period of oiliness but that is quickly absorbed and your hands and hair are left without a slick oily feeling. The pump works well and the overall product should last a few months as only a small amount is necessary, but this of course will depend on your hair length and fullness.

I have very long hair and exclusively use Dove hair care products. I use this serum in oil on the mid lengths to the ends of my hair, with the highest concentration on the ends. Once most of it is off of my hands, I go ahead and run my hands through all of my hair, including my hairline. I think it does help with frizzy hair too, but it seems to primarily be a treatment product. It smells better than most oils and never leaves my hair feeling greasy. I have dry, color-treated hair, but even with that, I only need about 3 pumps for my whole head of hair. It puts a nice shine on my hair, and although you can apply it to wet hair, I only use it on dry hair right after I brush it, once daily. I’m never able to find this product in stores, but I like it enough to continue ordering it through Amazon and so far, I have never paid more than $10 for it. Similar products from prestige hair care brands cost a whole lot more for the same amount. I plan to stick with this one.
