This leave in conditioner comes in a full size/family size bottle with a pump top. You get a lot of product for the price, which is fantastic. The product itself is actually pretty good but left me wanting a bit more. Its a leave-in conditioning treatment for curly hair, but my hair having a variety of different curl patterns, found that it worked better for me as a detangler and base for other products to be layered over. I found that using this conditioner by itself still left my hair a bit puffy when it dried and didnt really define the curls. But, I will say, it did leave my hair feeling soft, moisturized and healthy. It didnt feel dry. But I do wish that it wouldve amplified my curls on its own. I had to use a curling cream over the conditioner and a diffuser to get the curls to look neat and tidy.

This review is for Dove Amplified Textures Leave-in Conditioner for Coils, Curls and Waves. It comes in a 100% recycled bottle and says it is animal cruelty free. I found the product to have a good thickness to it that was similar to most other conditioners and it was easy to work into my hair. The instructions state to use this after you have finished conditioning your hair. It says to use a generous amount but do not get carried away with it. The first time I used too much and while my hair looked fine every time I touched it I got some residue from this leave-in conditioner. Not fun. I would advise you to use it sparingly at first and see exactly how much you need. Once you get the right amount in there you no longer get the residue issue. I found that this stuff encouraged curls to form in my hair to a point. My hair is sometimes more curly than other times in general. Kind of different every day. When I use this conditioner I see more curls forming for sure. What I really got this stuff for was my beard though. I always find these types of products to work extremely well on my beard as it is a thicker hair. Overall I thought this was a good product. I am not sure I would switch off of my normal brand or not yet but it did work well for me. I can definitely recommend it as a solid leave-in conditioner though. One last thing, I dont get much of a scent from this. Neither bad nor good and I am fine with that.

Far from textured hair, but have very fine hair that went from straight as a board as a look kid through my early 20s, and then decided to be curly. Slather it in in the shower, and let it air dry over night. Curls are bouncy (curly chin length bob) and NOT frizzy in the morning. Stays nice all day. Use it every 2cd or 3rd time I wash my hair.

I was not expecting the large size. As far as performance it worked okay for my daughters hair. There are better leave-ins I have used. I am not a fan of heavily scented products and this gave me a headache. So I am going to donate the rest of this product. Performs okay but the fragrance isnt it.

This leave-in conditioner just isn’t for me. I’m not sure why it’s specifically advertised for curly hair—it does nothing to accentuate or improve my wavy hair. And instead of adding moisture and some texture, it seems to add a flat look that I don’t usually get with other leave-in brands. I like the heavy but nice fragrance in this, and the bottle is a big economical size, but if the formula doesn’t work very well, those other two features are of little importance.

This smells bad. Simply not a pleasant aroma. Even it does happen to work, I most likely wi not use it just because of the scent. **update** it leave a tacky feeling. I actually hate it. Now I’m stuck with this huge bottle.

Smells like coconuts and gives me great kinky curls with minimal to no effort. No greasy mess and no scent morphing into anything gross. Highly recommend!

Love this conditioner! I didn’t like how it made my hair feel as a leave in so I tried rinsing the conditioner in the shower. Amazing how well it works!
