DOVE MEN + CARE Clinical Strength Antiperspirant Extra Fresh, 1.7 oz

If I had realized this was a soft solid deodorant I wouldnt have gotten it to review. This is the type that squeezes the deodorant through holes in the plastic instead of being a solid block. That said, the deodorant - smells ok - works fine My problems - I dont like soft solid - this product is extremely expensive. Not only is it over twice as expensive as what I normally purchase, it contains about half as much deodorant. Net result is this about 5x as expensive.

Its pretty pointless. Its a novel idea on how to make a different deodorant but ultimately pointless. Normal deodorant sticks work fine, but so does this thing. This thing does work but it sucks, you way more often have to keep twisting it to get some of the deodorant to actually come out, unlike traditional sticks. Also the deodorant is more of a goo or slime as opposed to the more solid sticks usually. Both work fine but this is just slightly more of an annoyance without a purpose. It smells fine and so far as deodorant, it again works fine, its just more annoying to apply so I wouldnt buy more. The difference is small but in the favor of tradition.

The smell is strong but fresh. We like the smell so much we bought the body wash. He doesnt break out when he wears it. I feel like its kind of expensive. It seems though all clinical deodorants are pretty pricey.

The only thing I dislike about the product is that it isnt a stick-based deodorant, so you have to twist the gel out when you use it. However, some may like this feature. The good parts about the deodorant are that it works great, smells fine, and it doesnt leave any stains. There is no shedding of little white pieces of deodorant throughout the day. I know it says clinical strength, but I dont really have a way of knowing exactly how strong it is. It works for me during some high-intensity workouts - that much I can attest to.

So I use Dove myself and think it’s amazing! So I saw this and thought my husband should try it as well! And he LOVES it! The scent smells very good and fresh! It is a lasting fresh scent! He also said it lasts a long time and feels great on him! I don’t think he will be going back to any other deodorant after using this now! He also has sensitive skin and this has been amazing for him in that aspect as well! We are totally a forever Dove family now! You will not regret it! I high recommend it!

This completely stops any smell. I still sweat but there is never smell. Its nice and smooth. Just not enough in the product.

Smells really nice, definitely “manly” smell like a cologne. It’s like a creamy consistency but not gel like most that have the screw thing on the bottom. It does come out white so watch out for dark clothes. It smelled good throughout the day and prevented wetness.

My husband really has to watch what is he using as he will smell by the end of the day. I thought maybe the clinical strength would be good for him. It works but not any better than some other regular sticks. This does smell amazing and you can smell the fresh scent before you even open it. It works well, but not any better than others. It is not worth the extra price for us.

Ive had other brands that tried to use this kind of dispenser, and Ive NEVER liked it. The semi solid liquid inside that squeezes through the holes to get spread - it never spreads nearly as evenly or smoothly as a solid stick does, often leaves marks on clothes as you pull them on. The antiperspirant itself seems to work OK, but I wont even finish this product after the second day. Tossing it out and sticking with my standard stick and spray depending on my mood and need.
