Such a great deal for a great product

I have to say after years of using Dove products both soap, body wash, and deodorant this is the first time I have been truly disappointed. I usually buy in bulk so 8 or 10 bottles and along with my bar soap it takes 2 years to use it all. Anyway, I was just in the shower this morning and my last bottle of Dove Extra Fresh Body Wash ran out. I reached in the cupboard for my new bottle and was instantly saddened. The stuff I had been using for the past 2 years was twice as thick and created a nice lather and it smelled 3 times fresher and stronger than the new reformulated bottle. I will probably never buy this product again, especially sight unseen from Amazon. In an effort to pump up profits they have made a substandard watered-down version of what I thought was a great product. Watery, weak smell, and smaller bottle, what a letdown. I have to say I wasnt a big fan of the pump bottle as it was hard to get out and you were always left with a bunch of soap in the bottom. Oh well, Dove has lost a customer and I guess I will be reading some reviews and head to the grocery store to pick up some new body wash.

This is a pretty good body wash. The amount is more than most body wash containers and the price was affordable. The liquid is pretty thick, smells nice and cleans and refreshes my skin like any other body wash. As for it spilling out quickly (as some other reviewers have wrote about), I didnt really have a problem with that. I have bought this specific size/brand before at grocery/pharmacy stores and thought those spilled out quickly as well. So I didnt really notice a difference. I think the quick spilling at first has more to do with the weight and amount of liquid in the container, rather than it being diluted. As I continued to use the body was and the amount lessened the liquid spills out much slower. The ones that I bought (shipped and sold from Amazon) works just like any other body wash. I also love getting it shipped to my house so I dont have to make a trip to the grocery store just for body wash. I will buy this again when I run out, and may even try different scents/formulas.

I particularly appreciate that after a pleasant show, it rinses off quickly and completely.

I broke into a bottle the other day. It does definitely suds up well and smells pretty decent. Not yet sure of the moisturizing so I can only give it 4-stars for now. I used to use the Dove pump bottles but found that I could never use up all the products because when you get low, the pump stops working properly - I presume it does not reach deep enough.

Great scent, great value for $ amount.
