I switched to aluminum-free deodorant about a year ago, and everything people said was true. I began sweating less, my shirt stopped staining in the armpits, it was great. But alum-free deodorants just didnt last on me more than a few hours, and Id get a rash from time to time under my arms. I tried Axe, Old Spice, and Toms, but nothing worked. Dove was my fourth attempt at finding a good aluminum deodorant, and it might be my last. It lasts longer than any other brand Ive used, smells good but isnt as strong as Id like (I bought the clean comfort scent), and I havnent gotten a rash or felt irritated at all in a month of using it. Definitely recommend.

Solid product. Ive tried many, many antiperspirants and deodorants. For a while, I wanted to get away from the aluminum and tried all natural deodorants. They simply dont work well and I dont like the feeling my wet pits. For the last month Ive tried to go completely stick free... and, well, I find myself redordering this product. I just dont like the feeling of sweaty armpits so Im gonna give in and continue using the aluminum until something comes out telling me its just awful for you. This is twin-pack is a good deal at Amazon and this scent is fresh enough without being overpowering or way too artificially masculine like some of the ones on the market (eh hem, axe). It also lasts quite long - not sure if it goes the full 24 hours, but it will last most of the day with one application. The one downside is it does tend to stain your shirts in an awkward way... sometimes out of the laundry I can actually see some aluminum traces. I cant tell how much of the dark staining is due to the product or due to my sweat though. Ill keep an eye out and report back.

Good product from a company I can trust.

I had to swap off another deodorant with a red packaging and a ship on the label because it was burning my arm pit. I needed something a bit milder but the same strength. This deodorant fits the bill. You apply it and you dont need to worry for the rest of the day. The scent is there, but not overpowering.

With this formula change (from 48 to 72 hours), they changed scent completely. It doesnt smell anything like what extra fresh used to smell like. It smells really offensive to me, like a bottle of coconut or pineapple rum. Like a day at the beach with really strong sunscreen. The smell lingered on my clothes even after I washed them. Its terrible. I have no opinion on how well it works, or how it compares to the old formulation in terms of effectiveness or sensitivity because I was only willing to use it once due to the smell (and Im still regretting even using it once). Also who needs 72 hour deodorant? If youre not showering for three days are you really the kind of person whos super concerned about how you smell? It would be great if the new formula was better for sensitivity or didnt stain clothing as much as the old one, but Ill never know because Im not going to use it if it smells like this. Ive returned all the unopened ones. I guess Ill keep the one I did open as a warning to others.

It smells great and easy to slide. last the whole day. totally worth it

It helped a lot with irritation in my armpits. It smells fine, not overly strong but generically pleasant. It doesnt seem to last that long though. After about 12 hours there is a bit of smell coming through. By the next morning you need to clean it up and reapply without fail. a lot of times I use it twice a day.

Bought this product because I use dove deodorant and thought I could get cheaper off line than in store where Price went up. Wrong! Is just about same price. Not sellers fault, just how it is. Scent is ok, strong at first but when applied and after a duration will fade to the I did shower today scent. Deodorant for me last a good while, which is why I was less than amused at the cost since I last purchased. Listen ladies.... Things might get rough if this keeps happening. I went for the two pack, but was amazed when only one showed up. This could be that one fell out when it was opened and lost in the void, could have only been shipped as one, or it is possible that this is the deodorant equivalent of the three wolf t-shirt, and it was just plain stolen because of superior quality and sex appeal. Ill still use it because I like it, but it cost almost a dollar more than it did last time I bought it. Im not talking Reagan administration, Im talking like 6ish months ago. Its good, but price is getting high. I was serious ladies....
