Dove Nutritive Solutions Strengthening Conditioner Intensive Repair 4 Count for Damaged Hair Deep Conditioner with Keratin Actives 20.4 oz

I really do love everything Dove. I have only ever used Dove body bars and cream body soap, but this conditioner produced excellent results. My hair was so bouncy and soft after use. It was also shiny and visibly looked moisturized. My ends where most of my problems are still felt and looked a little dry, but it was an overall improvement from before. I’m not sure if I feel the claims of strengthening and intensive repair are really effective, but perhaps with extensive use it could be true. For a budget friendly option, this will leave your hair smelling wonderful and looking soft, shiny and bouncy.

Dove Shampoo and Conditioner have always been a favorite of mine. This conditioner is not heavy feeling. It is nourishing and I feel it helped with damage from coloring my hair. It rinsed out easily and I use it daily. I dont feel or see any buildup from my use of it. It also smells great!

Update: I have been using this conditioner daily for a few months now and it is showing good result on my hairs. I can feel the difference that it made for the health of my hairs and how easy I can manage my hairs in the morning. Many hair conditioners require at least 3 mins to work, but this Dove conditioner only needs 1 minute, so it shows how good it is and it is great during a shower on a very cold night in winter. I don’t need to be in the shower to wait for the conditioner to work itself in my hairs. My hairs felt very smooth and my scalp feels very moisturized after using this conditioner. I checked the split ends on some of my hairs and they showed some improvement. A pack of 4 big bottles is great value for the price.

One bottle busted

Let me start out by saying that I absolutely love Dove conditioners. If I buy a drugstore conditioner its almost always going to be Dove, theirs are superior to any other brands formulation, scent, and how silky it leaves my hair. Unfortunately, these bottles that I received seem to be the exception. They must have changed the formula because this is nothing like what Ive used from Dove in the past. First, this scent is rather awful and really unlike the other Dove scents that are always very fresh, light and clean smelling. This one smells like a base of floral layered on something very spicy like mens cologne? Its a very odd scent that doesnt smell nice and really lingers in the hair into the next day. Maybe theyre trying to market this to a more masculine audience I dont know, but it still has the floral part too and so its just very odd. Next, this was far from an Intensive Repair for my hair. It felt like any normal conditioner, maybe a little less effective than normal conditioner. My hair did not feel very soft or hydrated after using this at all. After seeing all the other glowing reviews on here I wondered why my experience was so different, and researched more on the internet and found other reviews elsewhere that were more consistent with my experience too. So it really seems like they changed the formula in this, sadly not for the better. But maybe I got an old batch that they dont use anymore, hopefully that will be the case and it will work better for you. If not, I really hope Dove goes back to their other very consistent formulas that smell amazing and leave your hair feeling super soft and happy.

While this conditioner is by no means salon quality, I find it to be very, very good. I never expected Dove to make a quality hair product but this Intensive Repair line is. My hair is dry and somewhat damaged form chemicals and heated styling tools. It is long and needs a lot of hydration but, if I over condition, it will look flat and limp. This conditioner does the job while still allowing my hair to have volume and bounce. It looks shiny and well maintained. This isnt the best conditioner I ever used (Konos is which is about six times the price for 8 ounces!) but, for the low price, very effective. I continue to use several different shampoos and conditioners but I have to say, this one is up there with many of my pricier salon conditioners!

I purchase the Dove brand for restorative treatment, because it has never let me down. My hair is naturally frizzy...not curly, not wavy, but ugly frizzy. This product helps tame the frizz and gives me nice, soft and luxurious hair.

If you order this conditioner, they’ll send you shampoo. Tried returning and rebuying and got the same result.
