I use this conditioner for my real hair and for my wigs and it makes my hair really soft. My natural hair is 4C texture by the way..

I have long and thick hair and I am usually very particular with the kind of shampoo and hair conditioner I use on my hair. I tried this Dove conditioner and I loved it. Firstly the scent is just perfect. I found it to be unique, and it doesnt smell like every other hair product. It has a sweet, but not overwhelming scent. During the summer between going to the pool and the beach, my hair got demaged and I have been looking for a good option to try to repair my hair. After using this product a few times my hair felt healthy and smooth. I like that this is supposed to also reduce hair breakage. I usually blow dry my hair after washing it, so I am glad this will also prevent my hair to break so much. I think that this is a very good value. You get 4 bottles for under $20. I am looking forward to trying the shampoo with it as well.

The conditioner is milky-white color, has a thick consistency, with a creamy texture, and has a wonderful pleasant scent. Once I applied the conditioner to my hair, it took a moderate amount of water pressure to fully rinse the conditioner from my hair. It leaves my hair feeling smooth and soft and smelling good. I like that I can comb my hair without it getting tangled as often as before. Lastly, I measure a bottle (which has a flip-top lid) to be 9-1/8 inches tall. note: Be careful when handling these bottles by their lids. I received four bottles; when I grabbed one bottle by the lid to take it out of the box these bottles came in, the lid came off, the bottle fell to the floor, and some of the conditioner spilled. To see if this was the case with the others, I held the other 3 bottles by the lids; but, those lids did not come off. Overall, this is an excellent conditioner that helps get my damaged hair back to being healthy, as I live in a region with hard water, which leaves my hair prone to drying out and breaking.

Like with all of Doves hair conditioners, the first thing you noticed is the fragrance. Its a little sweet, a little powdery, and just really comforting/pleasant. Love it! Now, I also like that this leans toward a thinner consistency. This is great because it allows the conditioner to be evenly dispersed over hair quickly and without overworking the hair. What a boon! Finally, I really enjoy how effortlessly and cleanly this is rinsed from hair. It definitely values my time. But, in the same breath, it really does treat my hair with care. It leaves my hair soft, bouncing, frizz-free, and gorgeous. Everything that conditioners three times the price do! And, to me, thats amazing! Stock up with this case! Love it! Highly, highly recommended!

I have 40 year old naturally curly really long hair. This conditioner has it looking like when I was a teenager as far as bounce, curl definition, body, and shine go. I LOVE it! The smell is lovely and keeps my hair smelling pretty all day. The curls also last up to three days between washes with this product...only one with other brands before it frizzes and flops. Once my hair was beaten from a decade of teenage dye adventures through the rainbow. After using one bottle, my hair was as soft as a newborn babys. Now I buy this only occasionally to use once a week and it has kept my hair in pristine condition. I would not advise daily use for fine hair because it weighs it down with its magnificent blanket of moisture-rich protection.
