I was first introduced to Dr Bonners Peppermint liquid soap about 1985 and havent looked back since then. To be honest, I think it was much stronger before Dr Bonner passed on and I was always getting positive comments from the ladies about the peppermint aroma. That was a double plus. Regardless, in order to keep the cost of manufacturing down the Bonner family had to do something and over all, they did a great job with the formula in the memory of Grandpa Bonner. So now a days I dont get as many peppermint comments from the ladies but the cleanliness and sqweeky clean feeling are still a hit! And it takes up to two years to use up a stick of deoderant because Dr Bonners really eliminates the need for such products. I buy a gallon at a time, pour some into a 24 oz container which I then use to fill a small 99 Cent store SPRAY BOTTLE with 1/3 Dr Bonners soap and 2/3 water. Shake it up and voila! I use one spray for the hands. One spray for the face. Two sprays to latherup for a fresh shave and 3 sprays on my wash brush for a good shower. Afterwards I dont feel that Dove soap lotion feeling on my skin. It is more like a window feels when it is absolutely dirt free. Once in a while Ill use a cap full with a load of laundry just for the heck of it. I once heard that many cleansers break down the dirt. Dr Bonners carries it away.

I feel refreshed and clean after my shower

So, I ordered two Gallon jugs of the peppermint soap as our family of 5 are big fans. So the other day, we’d finally run out of our last batch and I had my Wife refill our bottle for the bath. Afterwards, as I was showering, I detected a Complete lack of peppermint scent, and the scent I was getting was Gawd-awful. It wreaked like old vegetable oil. So I had my wife bring the gallon to the bathroom, and there it was, Unscented Baby Formula. I spent $57 on a Gallon jug of gross smelling soap, and because it wasn’t noticed until after the “return window”, I suppose we’re SOL. Both bottles were wrapped in cellophane when they arrived and we had no reason to unwrap them before they were stored in our basement pantry. I’d hope the manufacturer would offer us a credit or even send a new one. The peppermint variety is the only one we enjoy.

I love this product not only because you can bathe in it and come out smelling so refresh like peppermint but you can also wash your clothes with it and your clothes come out with such a fresh minty smell and it doesnt cost a lot its worth every dime

I absolutely love Dr. Bronners!!! I just started using his soap about a month ago and Im extremely happy I switched!! I own a home/ office cleaning company and use ONLY Dr. Bronners soap for practically everything, except glass/mirrors. My family loves the Peppermint, Almond & Lavender scented soaps, theyre tingly and make you feel cool and clean, and in my opinion, the peppermint scent is out of this world! We use these soaps for everything but brushing our teeth. Maybe one day Ill be brave enough to try it... ;0) I tried it as a shampoo on my long hair and it felt weird, I cant explain the feeling, but after shampooing I used Aubrey Organics Rose Mosqueta conditioner and my hair felt wonderful, & smelled wonderful too. If you do use Dr. Bronners soap as a shampoo youll definitely need a good conditioner, (in my opinion). It really is a wonderful product with way more than 18 uses, not to mention the gratification you get knowing your saving the planet!! I recommend it to anyone and everyone that is willing to listen! If Amazon allowed me to give more than 5 stars I definitely would!

Great shower soap with a wash cloth.

I used to use Green Soap until a friend told me about this product. Now I use it exclusively for tattooing. I mix a minute amount with a bottle of distilled water and it works wonders. I do wish it didn’t feel so slimy if I use too much. The scent however makes up for it. It’s far less irritating on my clients skin.

Love this stuff
