We’ve used Dr. Bronners for years!! We use it to mop our wood floors. Because it is oil based it leaves a nice shine. And the ability to pick up dirt on that very dirty floor (3 dogs) is awesome! I also use it to clean my stainless steel appliances- works like a charm! And to clean tables and countertops! Of course we originally started using it as our body soap in the shower! Great stuff! Love the naturally derived ingredients! If you haven’t tried the peppermint in the middle of summer you’re missing out! Incredibly Refreshing at the end of a hot and humid day!

Okay, I try and review the majority of the items I purchase on Amazon. I think its a very clean way to help the marketplace decide the pros and cons of any particular item. If more people did it we would all benefit. Reviewing soap… Seems ridiculous, ordinarily I would say that it is, however if you dont have the attention span to read along review just know that you will never purchase another soap that leaves you with a cleaner feeling and a more robust peppermint smell both in and out of the shower. The long version is a bit more involved, this stuff is sold like snake oil… Basically a cure for any mass any time. I practically expect Billy Mays to pop up and give me a long-winded pitch about the miracles of this soap. Theres a very interesting back story to the company, this is in a bunch of millennial hippies that think organic peppermint soap and all things vegan will save the world. This companys been around since the 1800s and they sell exactly the same product that they sold that… Likely with some improvements. If youve ever picked up a bottle and tried to read the nonsense ramblings on the bottle they actually have a purpose. You have to go to their website or Google it to find out, suffice to say its really not worth your time because it has nothing to do with the soap. Heres what you need to know, this is about the only commercially available consumer soap which is sold in a concentrated form. Any negative review that you see complaining about how oily it is or that its too strong is because the person didnt bother to take two seconds and read the instruction about how to use it. The company suggests half a tablespoon of soap heavily diluted in the shower. By that equation your grandkids will inherit the bottle. When I was kid my parents sent me to an outdoors camp where we would backpack and canoe etc., this soap in a smaller container is what we used on the trail. Its completely organic so there was no risk of harm to the local wildlife or plants/ecology and it works better than any bar soap Ive ever seen. As an adult I actually still had my bottle from 30 years ago and it was exactly the same potency today as it was then. When I finished off the bottle I purchased 1 gallon and theres a reason, that I want to spend 50+ dollars on soap? Absolutely not… But the 32 ounce containers are far more expensive when you add them up and buying in bulk. I purchased a four dollar pump for a 1 gallon jug right here on Amazon and I created the perfect system for dispensing this soap. Using a loofah or washcloth about an ounce and 1/2 of this stuff will lather up in a way that you would not believe, there is such a thing as too many suds. The smell can be overwhelming when you first start using this… Youll get used to it and grow very fond of the smell. So above when I said that this is sold like snake oil, I wasnt kidding… If you read the jug/bottle youll see that basically they claim this thing can wash or clean anything. Maybe it can, but Im good with tied in the washing machine and cascade in my dishwasher. Im sure there are some Birkenstock wearing hemp wrapped hippies that actually use this stuff for the 2000 different ways it can be used, I use it the shower and wash my hands. The only thing that I can say isnt 100% about the product… If youre prone to dry skin, youll want to use this every other time you shower. This stuff is like the first time you ever took a shower in soft water and felt like there was still soap on you but in reality you are just clean. We get so used to hard water deposits that when you use soft water you get the feeling like theres still slick soap on you. This is exactly the same, youll have to play around with the amount until you reach a dilution ratio that works for you. I unconditionally guarantee (no guarantee being offered :-)), if you try this stuff you will love it. Congratulations… You just made it through the worlds longest soap review

This product is one of the BEST multipurpose cleaning products on the market. Follow the guided recommendations and you wont be disappointed. A little really does go a long way. I use this primarily for bath time, but I have also added it to my wash cycle recently. If you have very sensitive skin, perhaps trying the unscented version, but the peppermint gives me an extra boost of feeling clean that is unmatched. I have never been a fan of liquid soap for bath time until now.

I have been using this wonderful soap for years now. It is so invigorating and does quite well on sensitive skin. There is no drying out my skin or any residue left on my skin and it’s purity allows me to use it to clean scratches and scrapes. By buying this soap from Amazon I saved quite a bit

Have been using Dr. Bronners for several decades. Usually order Lavender. This time I ordered Peppermint. Too much peppermint oil in this batch. It irritates sensitive areas. I will go back to my standard next time.

This is one great product! My family has been using these all natural Dr. Bronners soaps since 1969 and even though the formulas have changed a bit over the years, theyre still the best weve ever found. There are so many delightful ways to use this pleasant smelling soap. The label will clue you into just a few of them. Often, a few drops of this precious liquid is all it takes to clean so many things and brighten your day at the same time. We always use this peppermint version as a body wash in the shower (avoiding body orifices, of course,) in foaming & regular hand soap dispensers (diluted at least 4 parts water to 1 part soap,) on toothbrushes (where one DILUTED drop will be plenty,) in spray bottles (again, greatly diluted with water - up to 10 parts water to 1 part soap) for cleaning around sinks & toilets and sometimes as an air freshener. We use it full strength to rub pine sap off our hands, a diluted spray to break down poison ivy oil on the skin and to spray around openings and on counter tops to discourage ants. Reading reviews on this as well as the Dr. Bronners web site will give you many more uses. You simply cant go wrong with Dr. Bronners. Weve sent many bottles as gifts to people, as well, and once they start using the soaps they never go back to anything else. With these types of use, a full gallon easily lasts a couple of years. If I were ever to be marooned on a deserted island, this would be the one cleaning agent I would choose to have with me. :-)
