Dr. Seuss The Grinch / Le Grincheux

Great movie!

This is my kids favorite Christmas movie.

I dont know why I expected this to be great. The Grinch has already been done and already been done well, so why was there ever a remake in the first place. The Cyndi-lou has a single over worked mom story was completely left field and it didnt fit. I watched it because I am a Grinch fan, but I wont watch it again and I certainly dont feel the need to own a copy.

Great family movie; entertaining for all!

We like holiday movies, and regularly add movies to our viewing (especially animated ones) for the kids. We had not seen this one and the kids like the Grinch so we thought we’d give this a try. It had some nice animation and looked good on the screen. This movie adds some additional background story for the Grinch’s character and is a nice narrative. Some of the elements are silly and some things they changed that I was not a fan of but eh it’s a silly movie. Go in with low expectations (it’s not a sentimental Pixar movie) and you can be entertained. It’s not a classic but I wouldn’t mind watching it again (and will again this holiday season).

My wife is a huge fan of the Grinch. Shes been wanting the traditional movie for her collection. Exactly what she wanted and fun to watch.

The blu ray and dvd appear to be in good condition, the digital code for the movie expired almost 2 years ago, so that took awhile to figure out. Fortunately I was able to redeem the code at vudu.com

My daughter loved it. Everything as described.
