Dr. Seuss The Grinch / Le Grincheux

My girls hate the Jim Carey Grinch--too scarey, and too off the mark as the story goes. The original is a little too old school, but this one is funny and sweet. Max is endearing. Whoville is reasonably quirky--not over the top. Funny for adults, making it a nice family movie. Fun music, too. Nice message within the story. One of our new favs!

Definitely a great remake of the classic

I like how bright the colors are in this movie; that really stood out to me. Its a cute version of the original... new characters, some funny. Our family really likes it. I would give it more than 5 stars.

needed something quick for my nieces when their dvd wouldnt work

I am a 10 year old kid and this movie was. the. best. I loved the way they made the character, max the dog. SO FUNNY. Sure, its not a complete remake of the book, but it didnt ruin the book for me at all! This movie is a must to watch. Kids and adults will be suprised at how good this movie is. Just fabulous. 100/10 stars by far!!!!

Perfect movie for my grandson - exactly what he wanted!

I enjoyed this version of the timeless classic. Its paying homage with a few of the original story, but gives a bit of background to the Grinchs character, which I liked. I didnt like the Jim Carey version AT ALL, but I loved that this version still has a rhythmic feel. Its BASED on Dr. Suess story, but has an updated feel.

Since that I did not give my 6 year old daughter permission to order this movie on her Kindle how do I put a stop on her Ordering Apps or Music or Videos on my Account and why doesnt Amazon get in touch with me to make sure that I order these different Apps, Movies, Music.
