Dries out my mushrooms much faster than leaving them out in open air below 20 RH. I always err on the side of caution and wrap the pouches in a folded paper towel to prevent any desiccant from transferring into the partly dried food. Once fully dried Ill leave a packet in the container without worries.

We got these packets for dehydrated foods (in bags and jars), beans/grains (in jars), homemade beef jerky (in vacuum bags) and for drying out electronics that get wet... They work really well in all these contexts. The price can not be beat for food grade silica gel packets! I was amazed at the value and solid quality. Worked!

I used to have a subscription for this, everything had always been fine, but the last one was AT LEAST 3 times lighter than the previous times. The package though still says 2g x200 which is wrong. So I just cancelled my subscription. TIP: sort reviews by most recent first to see if others start having the same problem.

Living in a humid, hot environment, our food and products are subject to constant moisture that leads to loss and waste. These little packets are a lifesaver and we use them all the time, where-ever we can. A combination of canning jars, suction pop top containers or zip bags along with these and we are good to go! We have only had one issue where the pack came apart and contaminated a food product. But if you consider how much food we used to throw away without these, it is worth it for one bad outcome. We comforted ourselves that without the packet it would have been through out even sooner. Great for putting in your make-up bag important papers, etc.

i think this is a good quality product. I have not had trouble yet to know for sure if they work well. But I did put packets in all my metal jewelry findings, wire... Wish it was at a better cost,

These are very absorbent actually kept our food fresh and dry. I will be buying these again.

These are working great to keep my dehydrated food dry in a vacuum sealed bag. I love the idea that when I’m done using them that I can put them in the oven to dry them out and reuse them again. Very happy with this purchase.

Good product. Work well for ammo boxes, gun bags, dry dog food, tackle boxes, you name it. Very good quality pouches. Would recommend.

Added to food I have dehydrated to keep moisture from building up in the packaging after dehydrating, for home use. They are getting the job done.
