> 3 dayI use this spitter for my helium miner in order to power and connect to the network with one cable. Works great! saves a whole other cable run on the roof. A+

> 3 dayUnfortunately will have to give this a low score. It is super finicky, much like another reviewer already pointed out it occasionally drops connection and I have to tug on it a few times to get it working again suggesting something is coming loose. I suppose you get what you pay for...

> 3 dayI bought 3 of these adapters and they all work, and work the same way. They do what I need, 5V @ >1A. Pro: — Runs Raspberry Pi 4 @5W, required for boot-up and heavy processing (all 4-cores @100%) — Works with Raspberry Pi 4 Pre-v1.2 USB-C connectors (CC lines wired together, not separate as required, newer RP4s do it right) — Convenient small size, light weight — Will charge my cell phone using a µ-USB adapter — Provides the higher current needed to run the RP4 reliably. My laptop Type-A USB ports dont provide enough power, and my pre-v1.2 RP4 wont power off the USB-C port, because it is wired incorrectly. This makes this higher power adapter necessary for my application(s). Con: — USB-C is 5V only, wont negotiate to higher voltages. — No real con, except the green light on the Ethernet port never lights. I couldnt decide if this is an Ethernet activity light, or a USB-C connected light. Either way, nothing I do makes this light turn on. Wondering what its for?

> 3 dayWorked well out of the box for quite a while (>2 years). However, recently the device that this was powering - disappeared. Unexpectedly the culprit was this device. After finally getting the device booted, the log revealed a litany of over current instances had occurred. Thankfully, it appears that no damage had occurred to the unit being powered. If you run into an issue, do not overlook this as a potential culprit. Did previously purchase more of these, at different times. Will be curious to see if the same behavior is exhibited by any of the others as they reach the same age or if this is a one off.

> 3 dayPowers my RPi 4 from a Unifi switch. Much better than the standard RPi wall wart. Smells like a neat, organized network equipment rack.

> 3 dayIts working as expected but giving it 4 stars because the ethernet release clip broke off the first time I used it, so now I had to tape the wire to the device to keep it from coming out.
