Greater than one weekI like the cover overall, however, the grooves for the open positions could be deeper as the iPad has a tendency to slip out of them when using. Other than that, no complaints.

> 3 dayI purchased this cover in blue, but I got it in a midnight, almost black color, unlike the ad. I decided to keep it because the leather is soft, supple, the stitches on the edges are neat and even. It has no chemical smell and it fits my old iPad mini like a glove. The openings for the the charger and other ports are well aligned. The elastic band for closure and pen holder are soft, wide enough to function properly and attached securely. For these reasons, I decided not to bother returning it for a different color. I would highly recommend this product with a note to future buyers to be aware of a possible color mismatch. I hope this is helpful.
