DualShock 4 Wireless Controller for PlayStation 4 - Jet Black

Nothing special to say about the controller other than it works like it should. I love the camo designs so this was a must for me. Have another camo design one that is white and silver.

Controller worked great at first, but now randomly just disconnects from the PS4 console. Quite irritating when youre playing a game and it just shuts off, or when youre watching Netflex and it shuts off. I am not a lazy guy, but it is annoying to have to get up and repair it everyday or switch controllers. Of the 2 controllers I have, this one is my least favorite which is depressing because I love camo.

Not only does this look cool on my desk sitting because of the blue camo, but the quality on it is amazing.

I had to fix the controller when I first got it was going to return it but needed to use it since my other was broken so I decided to give fixing it a go. After I did manage to get it fixed it still did not feel right and the buttons did not work as intended. It still does the job but the R1 and R2 stick and the middle joystick does as well sometimes. I personally would not recommend buying this controller.

I have purchased two of these,a red and crystal recently and had to repair the joysticks. It seems all the newer controllers end up having the same joystick issues. Once I clean the small discs behind the green covers inside the controller with 91% alcohol it works fine again.

Immediately after the 1 year mark, this controller began having constant issues. The L2 and R2 buttons randomly activate/deactivate. Any pressure applied to the handles of the controller cause this issue, as well as pressing certain other button combos. Beginning to agree with the other reviews stating the inauthenticity of this controller as the controller that came with my PS4 has been used far longer and harder than this one. This controller has become unusable, and considering the cost this is really an unacceptable situation. Only solution I can think of is to purchase directly from Sony, as, in my experience lately, Amazon has begun to stock some very questionable merchandise.

A Sony made controller doesnt just mess up one month into use. Serious latency issues where it catches up with your inputs after a few seconds at random intervals. Might throw a fit for 5 seconds or 5 minutes, doing every input at once or not at all. I also cant use it to voice chat and have to use party chat from my phone. Youre paying $65 for inconvenience- go to a dedicated game shop and save yourself the trouble of shipping it back when it inevitably malfunctions.
