These discs are a great buy. They do the job. Work well. One warning for new buyers that I learned the hard way. They’re packaged together by grit (5 of each grit). BEFORE you dump them out all over the place, write on the back with a sharpie the grit they are. If you do it later you’ll play hell figuring it out.

Id have given it 5 stars if the grit were printed anywhere on the back. The font is the same size as their larger pads so its just random if the imprint displays grit or not.

Great for surface cleanup/detail

I just knocked one star off because of the misleading photo of the product box on Amazon. To me, the photo makes it look like the package is an inch or more thick (which made me think that its thick to accommodate the individual discs which would have a thick backing). In reality, the discs are pretty thin, and the package is only about 1/2 inch thick. Ive only used the product on a couple of bowls so far, but the discs seem to hold up and the abrasive does its job without wearing too quickly.

Great for wood projects. Using it on a WEN drill press.

Sanding bowls

I’ve made my own version of this in the past a couple times and it just never turns out well. This actually works really well. Only complaint is that the sandpaper is labeled with the grit.
