Greater than one weekI agree with 2blackdogsmoms review. The sanding pads came in a small box with all the pads stacked together, no wrapper, etc. Bad thing is that they are NOT labeled on the back for grit size. You just have to guess what the grit is. I used the foam backer pad and it fell apart. I would strongly advise just buying the foam backer bits themselves, and buy an assortment of wet/dry sandpapers from your local auto store and cut them to size. You would have a lot more sandpaper to work with and more foam backers to use. This kit isnt worth the money!

Greater than one weekThese are great disks that hold up better than most others. A bit pricey but I guess you get what you pay for. I will be buying again.

> 3 dayGreat Aggressive Last A Long Time. I used for glass deep scratch removal. Dura Gold worked for 400 600 800 1200. 3m for 1500, 2000, 3000 Trizac, then 3m Polishing compounds from fine to ultra fine. Deep scratches gone. It was done outside wearing a respirator and water.

> 3 dayThis product may be fine for the auto market, but I would not recommend the product for sanding turned bowls. I attempted to sand the outside and inside of a turned bowl, and the pad was so stiff it would not bend around the curves in the bowl. To sand the curve, you had to apply more pressure than you should to get it to sand properly. The diameter of the sanding rounds is just bit smaller than the pad. This means that when you do try to follow the curves of a bowl, the plastic edge of the pad leaves marks on your wood. I tried shaving a bit off the edge of the pad, to make it sand without gouging, so I guess I own the product. Finally, obviously the sanding rounds are punched out of a large piece, so the grit size only shows on one (or none) of the rounds. How are you supposed to know what grit you are using? I do believe it would work for my purpose if the support pads were much softer.

Greater than one weekGood discs, not the cheapest around and took 5 days to receive them even though I’m within 150 miles of the vender. Here’s the deal - I have to go elsewhere for grits between 120 and 220 (2”) so I’ll just go elsewhere for all my discs.

> 3 dayI just knocked one star off because of the misleading photo of the product box on Amazon. To me, the photo makes it look like the package is an inch or more thick (which made me think that its thick to accommodate the individual discs which would have a thick backing). In reality, the discs are pretty thin, and the package is only about 1/2 inch thick. Ive only used the product on a couple of bowls so far, but the discs seem to hold up and the abrasive does its job without wearing too quickly.
