> 3 daySuper cute, lightweight hat but runs small. I ordered size 2-4years hat for my 2 year old and it JUST fits. Hopefully his head doesnt grow any over the summer or it would be too small. I even measured his head and compared to their sizing, but still was snug.

The string keeps it around his neck to prevent him from throwing it. AS WITH ALL CHILD TOYS/ACCESSORIES, PLEASE KEEP AN EYE ON YOUR CHILD BECAUSE THEY CAN BE A CHOKING HAZARD IF IT GETS CAUGHT ON SOMETHING.
