Perfect part to fix my Dyson V8.

Excellent replacement part. It fits perfectly and even came with a handy little screwdriver that is specific to the vacuum. I wont hesitate to buy this again if I need a replacement.

Dyson never had any parts available and always wants you to replace an ENTIRE “thing”. Ie: replace the whole dustbin, but they don’t have any dustbins to buy! This was exactly what I needed, just to replace the seal at the end of the dustbin. Saved money and had a quick fix without waiting forever on Dyson who can’t support their own product well. It even comes with the screwdriver needed. Since it was so simple, I handed it to my young teen for an easy “I fixed it” learning moment. Now she can use the “easy” vacuum again and not lug out the corded one. Perfect.

This seal eliminated the problem with suction that my Dyson was having, and it was easy to install. Great product!

My original broke while cleaning. Glad I checked Amazon and saw replacements as I was resolved that I needed to buy a new vacuum. The video helped me figure out how to replace the old part and install the new part. Took less than 5 mins. Vacuum working again, thanks.

The available video was helpful and the ring was easy to install. The vacuum seems to pick up dust and debris as well as ever.

It was a simple switch. Just watch a quick YouTube vid on how to do it to be sure. IMO there is improved suction after switching this out.
