Perfect replacement for broken Dyson V11.

Pros: It works, and was available to ship very fast (out of stock at Dyson). Cons: The red ring is a slightly different material and not as pliable as the original. I havent noticed any significant performance difference between them in the first couple weeks of using it, but its enough stiffer I wont be surprised if I see one down the road. Its inexpensive, and I could get it - so I dont regret the purchase. Overall, recommended - but know its not a factory identical part.

Great replacement to OEM. Works perfectly….maybe even better than the original. Thick, sturdy and pliable seal. Fits exactly on my Dyson v10

It isn’t a direct Dyson part but it works just as well if not better in the V15 detect canister!

Dyson never had any parts available and always wants you to replace an ENTIRE “thing”. Ie: replace the whole dustbin, but they don’t have any dustbins to buy! This was exactly what I needed, just to replace the seal at the end of the dustbin. Saved money and had a quick fix without waiting forever on Dyson who can’t support their own product well. It even comes with the screwdriver needed. Since it was so simple, I handed it to my young teen for an easy “I fixed it” learning moment. Now she can use the “easy” vacuum again and not lug out the corded one. Perfect.

I am overjoyed that I found this. The ring on my Dyson V15 broken and a replacement from Dyson was unavailable. So my rather expensive vacuum was unusable.. luckily I stumbled upon this replacement while googling and took a chance to buy it. It works exactly as it should and it’s super easy to install. No cons from me!

Arrived very quickly and fit perfectly.

Its so frustrating that Dyson has a product that fails like this but its nice to see the aftermarket provide a fix. They even supplied a screwdriver with the proper star shaped head on it. Was able to install in a just a minute and while I only tested it once it seems to work as good as the original seal.

This was accurately described, and exactly as pictured. Easy to install.
